Great price and excellent quality..I bought this for sketching home interiors and jotting down work scope notes. What I really enjoyed seeing was the empty table of contents and numbered pages which make it easy to what project name you're looking for rather than having shuffle through pages hoping to find it.

A great notebook for math or engineering. The only issue is that the perforations for tearing out pages are inconsistent and do not perform well.

I got this notebook after researching quite a few different options. I started a new job and will have filled the entire notebook in one month.Being a lefty, I love that the lines are on the left. I take extensive notes on the left side only, and save the right side for extracting important info from the notes for followup. I also appreciate the graph paper for sketching diagrams or mockups. The index is fantastic! Rather than flip through the entire notebook every time I need to find one page, I flip to the index first and then immediately to the numbered page. I've got multi-page meeting notes mixed in with pages dedicated to programs, acronyms, org charts, etc. so finding pages specifically is much easier with the index. The cover is sturdy and has survived a month of getting jammed into a laptop sleeve with other objects. The spiral diameter is too small for the pen I prefer to use, but I clip the pen to the spiral in a way that also acts as a page marker and fold the book with the pen inside.I just ordered two more. This is now my official notebook of choice.

The notebook is nice & sturdy with good paper as noted elsewhere. However, I was very disappointed that the grid is on the right hand (top) side of the sheet, and the lines are on the left hand (bottom) side of the paper. From the description I was expecting the opposite. I needed the LINES to be on top.

Like the title says, this is an exceedingly high quality notebook. I am currently using it for a chemistry class, and it is very handy to be able to jot notes on the left and draw mechanisms on the right. There is minimal bleed through, even with fountain pen ink. The cover is nice and sturdy, and the spiral binding wire is thicker than average. Being spiral bound, it is possible to paste printed-out diagrams and other resources into it without stressing the binding too much, another plus! I'm not thrilled with paying $7 for a notebook, but this notebook ought to last for a long time, through this and possibly subsequent chemistry courses.

I work in a research lab and having graph paper with lined paper is amazing. Graph paper is really nice to keep track of DSC runs and lined paper for written notes and balancing reactions. Highly recommend to any one that is looking for a cheap notebook to keep track of information and doesn't need carbon copies.

This is, quite simply, the best spiral notebook I've ever used in my life. It has a sturdy back cover that makes it possible to write unsupported, and a durable front cover that looks spill resistant. There are two index pages in front, like all the Vela notebooks, and the paper is very sturdy and white. As an engineering grad student I appreciate the alternate lined paper/grid paper setup, as this allows me to take notes on one side and draw accompanying diagrams to scale on the other. I will be purchasing many of these in the future - this is my new go-to notebook for everyday use.

Although spiral vs. stitched or glued the W2 can hang with the best of them. Paper color is considerably whiter than those listed above. The paper is high quality with a quality thick feeling to it and the grid and lines is matte blue - very easy on eyes. What I probably love best is the intuitive design feature of the book, e,g. page numbers, user idex, ect. If you're in a profession where organized notes are absolutely necessary - this notebook is certainly a useful tool to get you there. Met all my expectations and would purchase again. I'm 100% satisfied and would give a 10 out of 10.
