I got it a little too big, making sure it wasn't too small, and maybe get some extra use in, before he outgrows it. But the materials all seem nice and solid, as good as the adult ones I I've had. He'll have to grow into it and use it more, but for now, I like it. 👍

These neoprene chest waders are just right for my 10 year old grandson. He would rather fish than to do most anything else, and good waders are pretty much essential, especially in the late winter/ springtime.The waders are well made, heavy duty neoprene and absolutely waterproof. Suitable for cold water use, they may feel a tad over-warm during warmer weather, as any neoprene wader will. The camo-patterned uppers conform well to his body shape. The boots are molded, one-piece and have fairly deeply lugged soles to provide traction. Note that any rubber soled wader is going to offer less slip resistance on algae-covered "slimy" rocks than a felt-soled design can. (In many jurisdictions, felt-soled waders are prohibited anyway, due to their increased ability to transmit organic material from one stream to another)My only criticism of these waders is that they have to be stored outside, at least for the first week or so, because they smell TERRIBLE coming out of their protective packaging. Coming from China, molded from petroleum products and encased in a sealed plastic bag for delivery, it could not be otherwise. This is certainly not unique to this product, and is not intended to denigrate their quality.For a youngster who enjoys fishing and hunting, these are ideal and will not break the bank.

Wowza! This is a very nice wader set for kids!! It feels very high quality and is made out of neoprene making them warm and waterproof for any water activity. Please be mindful of measurements though! My son is at that awkward age where you are never 100% certain on sizes. He is almost 11 so we figured the 12/13 size would be great. Normally size 10 clothes are way to small for him. It turns out that the 10/11 size would have been more than adequate for a few years to come. The waders are quite large on him still so we did take measurements when we got them. The inseam is the most important one for an accurate measurement otherwise if we did it by waist, he would be in a toddler size. We also did a water test to check for any leaks or holes and my son said there was no issues! He also stayed warm as he was wearing shorts on a 55 degree day. We also pulled them inside out to double check and there was no sign of water. The boots are fairly large. My son wears a size 4 shoe( Kids size) and only filled up a little more than half the boot. I would say this sizing is more suitable for a 15-16 year old. Even though the sizing is a little tricky, this product looks and feels great! We do lots of fishing and magnet fishing and these will be wonderful for the Colorado waters!

These kids' waders look awesome! We’ve got a creek out back, and while water shoes are fine, they don’t protect against cold water or toe-stubbing. Little kids fall constantly, so these will give us the freedom to explore without worrying about the chill.I messed up the sizing and ordered too big—totally my fault. So, we won’t get to test them out until next summer.I also appreciate that there were two designs, camo for the audience that loves hunting, and black for those of us that don't.A couple of small notes: There was a strong odor when I opened the package, but it faded quickly. The rubber boots also had a slight slick residue, likely from manufacturing, but nothing concerning.Overall, these are really well made and feel worth every bit of their price!Disclosure: I received this item at a discount through the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for an honest review. These kids' waders should keep my son dry and comfortable for fishing and hunting. The waterproof neoprene material is very nice and will provide a good insulation for colder weather. These are a good choice for outdoor activities.

So far so good. No leaks. They are a tad big on my son, but do still fit. I did order the size up as I want to be able to use them for the next yr or so. The foot part looks like it's just glued on with rubber glue and there is a terrible glue smell when you first open the package. Our waders had what looks like glue on the inside as well. Not the worst thing. The waders come with patches and glue to repair them if needed. The stitching looked good so we tested them. My son walked in a nearby stream with them and we had no leaks so far. So far we are super happy!

I got these waders in a larger size so my daughter could grow into them over the next couple of years, but they ended up being even bigger than expected. She’ll have to wait a bit before wearing them. They also have a strong smell right out of the package, so definitely need to air out. That said, the quality is great—thick neoprene that seems warm and durable. Excited for her to use them when they fit!

Item fits as expected, and for the asking price appears to be nicely made. It does need quite a bit of time to air out though, it's pretty chemically scented when it arrives, but that's to be expected with what it is made out of.
