A magnet sticks to it and the inlet pipes. True stainless steel is not magnetic. Have to see how it holds up before I give it any more stars.

Incomplete and bad welds throughout the muffler and tail pipe, will have to get them rewelded before use.

This muffler is extremely close to the OEM one and does a great job for a very good price. No drone!

I was not expecting this to be an improvement. Pleasant surprise. Ohh, what videos on the install. Easy overall but the channel lock trick on the rubber hangers would have saved.me time.

Item arrived with no packaging but still had no damage or defects from exteriorItem connected to original pipes as stated with no problemItem had no gaskets and trying to order was a nightmare through auto parts store, they had no idea on size or even type had to get 3 correct gaskets from import autoVehicle runs great so far can definitely tell the power increase from old muffler and muffler is even quieter than original

Very disappointed. I bought this muffler for my Tundra in 2016. It's supposed to be stainless steel, but it rusted through in less than 3 years! Stay away!

I bought this muffler to replace the corroded factory muffler on my 2008 Tundra with 165,000 miles on it. The new muffler was no problem to install. All the hangers line up perfectly with no bending and fit the the stock rubber hangers with no problems. The flanges are angled perfectly and line up with the existing exhaust sytem just like the original. The material the muffler is made of is listed as stainless steel and it is magnetic which would seem to indicate a Ferritic alloy of stainless with little or no nickel, typical of what is used on car exhausts. The mufler itself is smaller than the stock unit and the overall weight is several pounds less than the stock muffler. I am sure the sound is not identical to the stock muffler, however my ear cannot detect a difference. The noise level seems to be almost identical to the original, but it is hard to tell from the drivers seat. It certainly is not louder than stock and if anything the Walker muffler is a bit quieter. There does not seem to be any difference in performance - neither better nor worse. Also driveability is not impacted in any manner that I can detect. The muffler came by truck from a shipping company located out of town but the delivery process was excellent with the shipper actually calling to see if they could deliver earlier than promised. Someone had to be home to sign for the part but otherwise no issues. The gaskets do not come with the muffler but were available from Amazon; I ordered them the same time as the muffler and they arrived a few days before the muffler. The gaskets fit with the new muffler just fine and I could not detect any leaks once everything was back together. The only problem I could see a do-it-yourselfer running into would be removing the flange bolts to get the old muffler off (I have an impact wrench so it was no problem) or breaking the original exit end pipe clamp when removing it. The original exhaust clamp seems kinda soft and malleable and I would recommend buying a new exit end pipe clamp to replace the existing one. Otherwise no issues with this item.To purchase an original Toyota muffler from the dealer would have cost $500 plus shipping. This muffler is about a quarter of that price so it if lasts more than 50,000 miles I will have certainly gotten my money's worth.
