Other than the fact that I think the range is a little overstated, these are really nice. They are nice and clear. The battery life is good. You will not lose one dropping it in the grass. They are resistant to the elements. They are so easy to use that the kids can grab and go. It would be nice if they had an encryption function, but it is not a deal breaker. Overall, they are a great value.

My 5-year old loves to play with the walkie talkies. We have to remind him to hold the side button to talk but I think it’s due to the age. After few reminders he got it. Batter life is great,lasts for hours.

One of the lanyards can't be used because both ends to connect it are the same. They seem sturdy enough for young kids. Hopefully easy to use.
