The ad says it’s 30 inches wide when in actual fact it’s 29.5 Inches so it creates a gap that you have to figure a way to hide it to make a professional job

.The listing image and description is smack on the money with what was delivered. Beautiful quality build and design.The design is very contemporary and exudes luxury to the eyes.I can tell you the place where value leaped out for me - It's the uncluttered feeling and logical layout of the controls. The hood that's being replaced is an old style that's larger in bulk.This amazing hood opens up space and disposes of any feelings of cramped kitchen claustrophobia.However, at first I had a humorous situation once I powered it up to check its functions. I thought it the fan wasn't functioning ! On darn ...But wait - there's more ...I turned the fan on and I heard NOTHING. I turned up the speed about half way and started to hear ... something ? Then I cranked the fan on full and I heard a little bit of fan whirring. It WAS WORKING FINE !The hood fan is just so quiet. I can feel it pushing a lot of air, but doggonit, this hood is very quiet when operating.The design, the gesture hands-free control, the wonderful look, and touch controls all add up to an added value that certainly runs well beyond the fabulous quality offered by this range hood.

Impressed by how quiet it runs even on high speed! The gesture controls are responsive. Perfect size for my 30" cooktop, and the included templates made DIY mounting simple. Family says the kitchen finally smells fresh – highly recommend!

First and foremost, this is a beautiful range hood! The actual hood itself, is very square and angular, with modern, clean lines.The chimney is quite impressive! It is a two-piece design that rises up from the back of the range hood, and continues with this straight line feature.Our old range hood is the "factory builders" model. Bare bones and not vented. We only use it for the light inside. It is useless as a fan. The unit by Joeaonz, however, could not be further removed. Apart from the great modern looks, it can be vented. Ideal would be to vent through a back wall - simple process. With ours, we will have to also go through two cupboards as our stove faces an inside wall.If we decided not to rip through the cupboards, we could do an effective recirculation option, because the unit will support a charcoal filter. Nice! The charcoal filter does need to be ordered extra.Our installation will be simple, because this new unit is the exact width of our old one. It will be a simple remove and replace.Power to the fan is supplied by an external cord that is already wired with a standard 3-prong plug.The fan is three speed and is rather quite on "low". There are three setting, "low", "medium" and "high". The different speeds are turned on with single push-buttons on the front of the range hood. In addition to the three metal tab buttons for the fan, the far right button turns on the two over range lights that shine down onto the stove surface. The far left button is for turning off the fan.The buttons do have symbols stamped on their front surface, but they are next to impossible to see. The fact that the far right button is for lights, and middle three are for different fan speeds and the far left turns the fan off, is simple enough and I guess does not need to be labeled. In fact, it does look very "clean" without any big words or symbols blasted over the front end of the hood!The two down-lights do provide a nice wash of light onto the stove top. They are tungsten lights - E14 base and rated for 40watts each. These could be replaced with LED lights, which would enable you to have much more light. (You would not want 40watts of LED lighting!) This would be something you could experiment with, in order to get the effect you like best.Bottom Line - A very modern look! Well made and crafted, there are no sharp seams or folds in the metal, and all the hardware is included. It seems like a high quality item and it looks exactly that!
