My chalk holder arrived in an undamaged box, however, the two main pieces were packed touching each other without any wrap between them. This caused the paint to be scratched and unsightly. I had to repaint everything to make the holder look presentable. The hardware to mount the holder was a joke. One short screw that wasn't anywhere near long enough to pass through the holder, and drywall. There was a quarter inch left to go into the 2x4 stud. Only one hole was drilled for this screw to mount the holder so I drilled another hole just above the lions head that allowed me to anchor the holder to the wall stud in 2 places. I used my own long wood screws to mount the holder. I suspect that most of these holders are essentially the same so the company that packs them properly to avoid shipping damage should come out on top.
