I have not shot yet, but they are mounted. i prefer to mount forward rings touching the elevation housing to prevent the scope from moving forward during recoil. using this method, the ring lever was a little too long as the elevation housing interfered with turning it 360 degrees. I dremeled 1/16 off the lever which solved the issue. I like these rings.

Excellent rings but ultimately found lower rings (Eotech aluminum) to meet my needs. If I hadn't needed to accommodate a higher rifle bore these would have been perfect.

outstanding rings but a pita to put on due to the horizontal screw orientation. will only use these or leupold rings.
