Neck has a factory defect, angled from the body laying the strings directly across the fretboard. Thus, making it impossible to tune or fret.Package showed no signs of damage, so had to come from the factory like this.0/10, a proper piece of crap

Seems good quality. String snapped immediately during initial tuning so was disappointed not to be able to play the day I was gifted this instrument).

Great value! I haven't picked up a banjo in 35 years, decided to go for it. This one is nearly identical to the one I used to have... felt great in my hands. Sounds really nice, too.

bought this for a friend on our deployment hoping that it would be quality enough for a decent guitar player. he really has enjoyed it. make sure you know how to put a bridge in when you get it so that you're not disappointed when you have to put it together, sounds great really loud and clear. fairly clean. and one string has an odd vibe that you can barely clear.

The banjo itself is a good product for the money, however the other items included in the kit leave more to be desired.The bag has no extra pockets to hold pitch pipe, picks, etc.The picks are plastic. Typically you want metal picks for your two fingers.The strap is designed for a guitar, not a banjo, and there is no easy way to attach it. I am currently using a paperclip to hold it on.Again, the banjo itself is fine, but I find myself needing to buy a new bag, strap, and picks anyway. I also have no use for the pitch pipe because I have an app on my smart phone. If I were to go back, I would buy a beginners banjo with out the extras and use the saved money to purchase products I'd be happy with.

We received the Banjo in a timely manner (before Christmas) actually before we thought we would get it. Everything was there - it is perfect. We just need somebody to play it now.
