What are the 6 filtration stages? What are their functions?
The first PP cotton layer
Filters out sediment, rust, and other large particles.
The activated carbon block layer
Reduces organic matter and chlorine.
The second PP cotton layer
Further reduces suspended matter and other impurities.
The everse osmosis membrane layer
Has a filtration accuracy of 0.0001 ฮผm, intercepting salt, atrazine, nitrates, PFAS, lead, sodium, chromium, benzene, etc.
The post-activated carbon block layer
Reduces taste and odor, improving the taste of water.
Service life: 12 months or 1,000 gallons, whichever comes first. This may vary depending on filtered water consumption.
0.0001 ฮผm pore size RO membrane
With its large filtration area, the RO membrane can reduce over 90% of TDS value and 99% of contaminants such as TDS, harmful chemicals, chlorine, VOCs, lead, mercury, arsenic, copper, etc.

I have had the Waterdrop D6 Reverse Osmosis System for about a year. The filter light came on indicating it was time to replace it. I was happy with how easy it was to install the new filter. (Larger filter, but similar process to replacing your refrigeratorโs water filter.) Best of all, the water with the new filter is delicious!!!

So much easier than the old 5 stage filter. You open the unit, pull out the old one, push in the new one, reset the counter and your done. It does get the water down to 3 to 7 ppm of TDS, although you do have to run the water for about a min to get it that low.If you hate the messy, time consuming and frustrating chore of replacing the traditional 5 or 6 stage filter system, you'll love this product.Convenience ain't cheap. And that's the reason for only 4 stars.
