This is a good, semi-mobile plant box for indoors or outdoors. It's very large on a sturdy base and the self-watering and draining features are great for plants that are easily flooded or overly sensitive. The instructions were a little vague but you can work out how to finish assembly with a little thought. I also have some worries about the size of the footprint and small wheels compared to the width of the container once its full of soil, but so far its stable. The box itself is a flexible, rubbery plastic material that doesn't feel brittle. It has a grippy enough surface that I've confident any leaks down the road can be patched/sealed easily. That said, for the price I feel like the main plant box could have been made of something more substantial.

First, let me say that I have been gardening in self-watering containers for over 25 years. I live in Florida where we have sand instead of soil and a huge nematode population in that sand. Containers have let me grow just about anything I've wanted but as I get older, it is sometimes difficult to bend over to work on the plants. When I saw this, I thought it was the answer to my problem! The container itself is larger than I've been used to, which is very nice. However, it is a thinner material and I worry that it won't hold up well under our intense sun. The stand could be sturdier. As it is, it's impossible to move across my brick patio. But my biggest issue by far is the drainage system. Yes, the way it's set up is perfect for indoor gardening but for me, it's a nightmare. We get heavy, torrential downpours of rain on a regular basis. If I leave the drain hole unplugged, it loses all the water and the self-watering feature is wasted. If I close it, I can find my plants drowning in a container full of muck. The drain hole needs to be above the plastic divider that separates soil from water. That way, excess water could be drained off but still leave a reservoir for the plants' roots. All in all, if you plan on gardening indoors, this will probably do a decent job for you. Or if you live in a dryer climate, it may do the job well outdoors. But if you try to garden in it outdoors and your area is prone to heavy rains, you will have problems with over-saturation.

I like everything about this garden bed, except the way the legs go together. I've seen this type of system before where they use these plastic clips and the clips are supposed to snap together as the weight of the shelf pushes down on them, but I haven't had a lot of luck using them. It seems like I inevitably end up with an unlevel unit. I did finally get everything level, but as soon as I tried to move the garden bed (I needed to lift it, before there was any soil in it) the legs fell right off and I had to do it all over again. I would prefer a more traditional way to attach the legs.Other than the legs, I really like the design. The bed collects the water in the base that as drained through and you can place a bucket under the spout and drain the water right into it. Perfect for my setup, where I'm putting this garden bed into a grow tent in my garage for the winter to grow lettuce and other veggies for my ducks to snack on. I can collect the water without it draining out all over my grow tent floor. If only the legs were more traditional in design, it would be a 5 star system!

This is a nice idea over all and it’s pretty big which is cool. But I think it needs to be a lot cheaper. The wheels are not super nice, which for me is not a big deal because I don’t plan on rolling it around everywhere but it’s not the same wheels as in the photo. I was also having issues with the drain hole, I think it needs to be in a different area because I have to either unplug-it otherwise all the water runs out or risk flooding my plants. If you keep monitoring it, I think it’ll work well and it does hold a lot.

Not very impressive to justify the pricetag...

The first container was delivered and cracked on two corners, but WATEX made a quick replacement of the container. When I got the container it was easy to assemble and had several features I liked. One was you have plenty of space and depth to grow all sorts of plants ( I am using it to grow herbs such as basil and cilantro. There are opening with meshed cups at the bottom that allow one to maintain a reservoir of water for you plants. A floating indicator shows the water level, so you don't have to worry about not watering your plants all the time. The container fits on a nice roll around stand that allows you to place your plants in the right amount of sun.

This product was so deceptively inaccurate I felt compelled to add this review. The instructions are horrendous at best with no written explanations. Even the pictures are very poor and unclear. The website pictures show heavy duty rubber caster wheels but in reality they are cheap plastic ones which have difficulty moving over new, smooth concrete (pictures attached). If you are not extremely careful rolling this, it will tip over. The support mechanism for the legs are a joke. Plastic tabs are utilized for shelf support and stabilization. They never stayed in place and often moved whenever any weight was applied. For something that will be top heavy, you need something more solidly built to support the weight.I have purchased many things via Amazon, not all of which were entirely accurate to the website pictures but this was the most inaccurate (deceptive) purchase I’ve ever made. Needless to say it’s going back

First of all, this review is way overdue. I bought the planter a few weeks ago and I am planning to get more. The planter is easy to install with proper instructions easy to follow. It is large made from heavy duty product. I planted tomatoes, and a lot of other herbs like rosemary, thyme, etc. The wheels makes it easy to transport the planter and I can move it to direct sunlight when needed. I have tried other planters in the market I think this one is the best I tried so far.I cannot wait for my plants to grow and will buy more of this product for the summer.
