I’ve been wanting to try out some punch needle projects and thought this coaster kit would be a great way to get started. This kit comes with everything you need to complete the six coasters pictured. The thread is nicely separated and labeled, and the tools are all there for you.The kit does come with instructions with pictures, but I wish the instructions and the pictures were larger. They are so small, you can barely see what the picture is trying to show you. I wish the instructions were a little clearer about which tools to use when and how exactly to make your punch stitches. I ran out of thread before I could finish my first coaster because I didn’t realize the stitches didn’t have to be so small and closely packed when I could have had them spaced out more and still have full coverage on the front. Once I figured that out, I had an easier time making the other coasters.I really enjoyed this kit and it makes me want to do more punch needle crafts.

This is a nice kit with everything you'll need to make a set of needle punched coasters. It even comes with felt backing to hide the back of your work and protect the table. I've wanted to try needle punching for a while but the startup costs were just out of my range. This is a nice kit to see if I enjoy it so I can then invest in better tools. The simple checkerboard pattern is nice to look at and still easy for a beginner. I also like that the yarn will help absorb any spills better than plastic or metal coasters. I can see myself using these coasters for years.

This was my first time with punch needle and it is much more difficult than I thought it would be. However, the designs are really cute and I would have loved to have finished one, but I got frustrated and put it away to try another day.
