Heavy duty 10,000 high cycle life replacement springs for Wayne Dalton Garage Doors using the torquemaster Plus TM3 TMII style spring system. This specialty spring is made only by Wayne Dalton for their Torquemaster TMS garage door system. To order, you must know the height and weight of your garage door. Measure door height or find the label on the metal spring tube listing your door dimensions. For doors 6'6" - 7'5" choose 7ft height. For doors 7'6" - 8'2" choose 8ft. The most important information when ordering a spring is your garage door balance weight. Springs are specifically rated for a range of door weights, so this detail is required to receive the correct spring replacement. Usually the weight is listed on a label located on the metal tube. If it isn't you can use a bathroom scale to weigh your door. Make sure all spring tension is release prior to weighing. The cables must be fully slack on both sides to insure you are getting the full weight on the scale. Once you have the weight, select the weight range that your door weight falls within. If you select a higher or lower weight than your actual door weighs, the spring you receive may not work. Please note: springs are color coded with paint by the factory to internally identify their size. All products shipped are new, direct from the factory. A small amount of colored paint is standard on all springs shipped.

Springs were good. Took awhile to figure out which springs and size I needed, but once ordered install was easy. These came with an awesome instruction book. Left and right springs were color coded. Super simple. Would buy again! Also, they were shipped quickly. My garage door was only out of action a few days.

This is an exact replacement for the older spring with the middle rod. I had my doubts about siring it bc these are shorter and do not have a rod through the middle. But it was a perfect fit. Now my food world like it used to and I had to make no adjustments. Just make sure you get the correct door weight. Mine was on a sticker around the metal tubing, but I used a bathroom scale to verify the weight.

Watch some YouTube videos to figure out what you were doing. The new springs were easy to install but a little bit of a pain to tension properly. I had to unwind and try again.

This was the correct spring for our garage door, exactly as advertised. Directions were included, and since we had already watched a few YouTube videos diagnosing the broken spring, changing it was pretty quick & easy. The information we needed to order the right door- dimensions & weight- were printed on a sticker right on the door. Spring felt like a good quality & the price was as expected after shopping around on the internet. Shipping didn't take too long, and arrived from its cross-country journey a day before estimated delivery range. If the spring on the other door goes, we'll be back, for sure!
