About Wazakura Japan
WHAT WE DO
Wazakura Japan has been delivering since 2019 Japanese bonsai and ikebana tools worldwide.
We were born not only wanting to make quality tools accessible worldwide, but aiming to keep Japanese crafts alive as well. That is why all of our tools are designed & manufactured in local Japanese workshops.
We want you to enjoy a little taste of Japan at home with tools 100% Made in Japan by skilled local artisans.

We believe in doing business successfully but also responsibly. A business should not only be accountable for its financial results, but also for what it provides to the community. Doing good is as important as doing well.
Wazakura Japan integrates the skills of Japanese artisans and blacksmiths with our design and marketing experience. This way we make these traditional crafts more accessible to the present day consumer.
But, most importantly, we contribute to keep these unique and traditional crafts working methods alive in modern times, helping the communities that dedicate their livelihood to them.
WHO WE WORK WITH
In Wazakura Japan we aspire to provide a better connection to Japanese artisans for a more meaningful purchase. Our tools and accessories are only manufactured in Japan with all the quality and durability that the country has been known for always in mind.
For this vision to be a reality and ensure that our strict production standards are respected, we scouted around Japan for responsible skilled craftsmen that shared our same vision. And we did find them all around the country, in the cities of Sanjo (Niigata Prefecture) and Tokoname (Aichi Prefecture).
Instead of mass produce simple products, these artisans and blacksmiths use the same techniques passed down by generations.

Kenzan: Easy to Use
Kenzan comes with rubber gasket that prevents scratches or damage to your vase.
It keeps your flowers upright, stable and in position while allowing water and nutrient absorption.
Also, the best solution for water to remain clear for a longer time.
Vase: Flower Arrangement or Decorative Use
This Japanese suiban ikebana vase is recommended for moribana style floral arrangement in which kenzan is used to construct naturalistic landscapes (we recommend to use Wazakura Kenzan, sold separately). Suitable for fresh bouquets, aquatic plants, moss, greenery silk flowers, home décor, kitchen, bathroom, office, wedding centerpiece, etc

A quality ceramic product - looks hand made, quality heavy flower spike as well. well presented in simple little box. Would make a lovely gift.

My first attempt. Using this was really easy with some interesting twigs and mosses from walks. The ceramic bowl is lovely, and the Kenzan (or flower frog) is strong, good quality, and doesn't slip. Didn't need any other kit, just used my sharp kitchen scissors. The black and red bowl looks beautiful online, but I preferred the black Kenzan that comes with this one, rather than a brass one, so it appears hidden in the bowl.

It’s great quality super heavy and not wobbly like other frogs I’ve gotten also comes in super safe packaging so no need be worried that it’ll come in broken.

Just received my bowl and kenzan today. It really is lovely with a light glazed swish across both the inside and outside of the black bowl. Kenzan is very sturdy and heavy enough to hold several stems. Heading to the store now to buy those flowers! Love it!!!
