I have been training / lifting weights for many years and over the years my upper body and in particular my shoulders became increasingly developed (good news) but with limitations on my range of shoulder motion (bad news). I have been on a journey to recover more range of motion. The RMT Club is the only thing that I have discovered that has helped. I am using it every morning and evening... and I am starting to recover my shoulder range of motion. Great Product!

This exercise club was highly recommended by my physical therapist for improving my golf swing.I had suffered a meniscus tear and worked in physical therapy to develop muscles and protect my healed meniscus tear. The club worked better than expected! My knee is doing well and my golf game improved. My husband uses it all the time. Highly recommend!

I used one at a friend's gym and found it an essential part of my warm-up and workout, so I had to get one of my own.

I was skeptical about 4 lbs ones if it will be heavy enough but I read some other reviews and their suggestions saying this is the good starting point and turns out 4 lbs is more than enough for me. It really built my hood swing muscle memory with it given that it is heavy enough that you will remember your swing at the course and also help build up that swing speed

This thing is not a gimmick; it fills a void in most traditional training/exercise instruction. Yes, you can use med balls to train rotation, but it's not as efficient as the RMT Club, b/c of the lever system, the weight distribution near 100% in the head, and the shifting shot in the head.I use it primarily for conditioning, Tabata HIIT style, using the most metabolic exercises (squats, lunges, swings, etc.) in all sorts of planes and on areas of focus. The WeckMethod website does a great job of explaining the exercises and the benefits. Use the RMT for 20 min. after 20 min. of Kettlebell work, and feel how gassed you will be from combining strength/power movements w/ rotational/speed movements....you'll be hooked.I've had the RMT Club for 7 weeks; my core is demonstrably tighter; I'm moving more efficiently, I'm hitting the golf ball more consistently and farther, and I'm in better shape due to the highly metabolic nature of the RMT (based on how I use it). I don't do the sport-specific protocols with it (not even the golf), but I suspect those would be effective as well. Gonna ask my much better half to get me the 6 lb. RMT for Father's Day; she'll be thrilled! LOL

Okay, I'm kind of a fitness buff, but by no means am I fitness professional. I practice yoga, bike, lift weights, jog, walk, practice martial arts, and TRX with frequency. I started looking around for a way of dealing with shoulder issues. I'm almost 50 and I have rotator cuff issues due to years of lifting too heavy and probably not having the best form in my youth. I had stumbled across an article about Indian club workouts for shoulder strength and flexibility. I started researching how to add this into my fitness regimen when I found a link to the RMT Club. The RMT Club seemed to make a lot of sense when I was investigating it. The internal shifting weight and rotational and balance training seemed spot on for what I was looking for in a workout. I bought it the same day I found their website. As soon as it arrived, I found a way to integrate it into my weekly workouts. I decided to add it into my weekly TRX circuit training. I found five basic exercises that hit all areas of my body and started performing 25 minutes of TRX and then 25 minutes of RMT Club training at a local park on the way home from work. Here are the five exercises I perform during my RMT circuits...1. Shoulder to shoulder swing2. Lunges3. Bailer4. Samurai Squat (AKA casting squat)5. Plank swing through (AKA thread the needle)And I added/improvised a specific ab exercise for added difficulty...6. V-Up touch toes (performing a normal v-up, but while holding the RMT club)Adding the RMT Club to my circuit workout really helped my flexibility and general fitness. It perfectly complemented my TRX circuit workout and gives me a different kind of exertion after 25 minutes of suspension training. If you have shoulder issues and need to work on your flexibility, this is certainly the workout apparatus that might help. The club is fairly solid where it is supposed to be and flexible in other areas. I don't use it to pound the ground or anything like that, but their literature and website say this is another type of workout. I like to keep it simple, so I'll probably stick to my basic exercises in a circuit for the time being.I bought the 8 lb Club, but it might be a little too heavy for some folks. Depending on your fitness level and strength, you might want to pick a lighter club--especially if you're going to be performing exercises targeting forearms and/or wrists. The best part of both the RMT Club and TRX, is that I can throw both of them in the back of my car and I have a full-body gym that takes up very little space. I just go to the pull-up bars at my local park and hook up my TRX for several circuits and then perform my RMT Club circuits right after. It really is awesome.
