I wanted this weed torch to burn the weeds growing up between the pavers on my patio. I was concerned that the heat from the flame would singe or discolor my patio blocks. It does not. The torch burns hot enough that it takes only a short amount of time to burn the weed, so thankfully, no burn marks on my patio. It's lightweight and easy enough to use. I only had to make about 3-4 quick passes over the weed to burn it out. This torch makes "weeding" so much quicker and doesn't make my back ache for days.

This was $25 in June 2024. It is solid and well made. It is not the most powerful. But with a little patience, it gets the job done. And as it's pretty simple and straight forward, it is quite easy connect and disconnect a small propane tank and hang up the wand.My only issue is the attached spark unit usually takes several tries to ignite a flame. it comes with an external unit, which probably because the attached unit does not work well. But annoying to have keep that with the wand when there is a spark generator attached.Otherwise, happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

Well, I thought I took a video of this when I used it the first time. But, I can’t find it, and now I can’t take a video because I can’t get it to work.I have wanted one of these for a long time, and was glad to be able to get this one. It was very easy to use. You just screw on a propane tank and screw the pieces of the wand together. Then, what I liked about it the most was that it has an ignition trigger.When I watch people use these in YouTube videos, it makes me nervous to have to put something that will sparks propane at the front of the gun. This one has an ignition so you don’t have to do that.That being said, it wasn’t as amazing as some of those that I have seen on YouTube videos. It seems like it’s smaller. So, it took a very long time to get rid of the weeds. I kept having to go back-and-forth and back-and-forth and back-and-forth before the weed would finally burn down. Eventually, I gave up and just weeded it as normal. But, I would think this would be handy to do touchups in the summer, especially when there are already plants around the weeds.But, why it has taken me so long to write this review is that after the first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to start again. I ended up having to switch propane tanks, and I thought that was the issue, but it must be the ignition. Now, this product does come with an extra ignition piece. I just haven’t gotten around to switching it out. Still, I think it’s telling that only after using it for about 45 minutes, it’s now not working. I know it’s not the propane tank because I put a fresh propane tank on. So, I think it’s the ignition switch. I am glad that they include an additional ignition switch when they send it to you, but if I am going to have to replace the ignition switch every 45 minutes that I use it, I’m gonna run out of ignition switches, and I’m not sure how to get more. All of this is to say that I think there are issues with this product. I like it, but it needs to not break down so quickly.

Don't have to bend over to use it. Ignitor works flawlessly. Just what I was looking for. Couldn't be happier
