I prefer an old fashion clothes line! This woks well enough but doesn’t seem as good as a traditional clothes line!It stretches way too much!

This cord is fine. It's a bit too thick feeling and not flexible enough to do a proper restringing of my clothesline, but it will definitely make do.

I bought this cord because one of the lines broke. It took five minutes to fix the issue. Place one end in the hole, stretch the length needed on the other end and tie it off. No problem at all.

I had to order this as my old clothesline was worn down and recently broke due to rust/age. I normally use wire in my clothesline since it holds better with heavy wet clothes/blankets/etc but this had a hard gel liner on the inside when i cut into it last week. I was unsure if it would hold up real good but it has held up so far. I did have to tighten it up some but it is very easy to keep tightened and manageable.

I'm so glad I went with the 7/32 size! The 5/32 seems like it would be way too small for the clothespin to grip very well. I really like that this clothesline has a fiber core instead of metal wire, as the old line at our house looked rusty through the really old faded, cracked outer plastic and was starting to get brittle. I'm not sure what the stretch over time will be like with this line, but it seems like a better option and I'll update my review after I've used it for a while. I will say that stringing this over such a long distance (50 ft span), it took two people to stretch it tight enough (my husband held on to the end wrapped around a wrench handle while I used a crescent wrench to tighten the nuts on the wire rope clamps we used. After I'd hung a load of clothes to dry, I could tell I wanted to tighten it some more, so we went through the process again and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I expect I'll have to tighten it up again in a few months, but that seems completely reasonable as I'd think there will be at least a little stretch over time.
