The pan is great and very durable. The instructions tell you to strew it directly into your floor and after putting in the tape for the front piece, 7 screws through the tape, that is the only place I put them. Overall, it’s peace of mind.

Be sure to have a tube of silicone with you when you install it you will need it for the 4 mounting screws. Dont forget to purchase a 1/2" fitting for the drain, it is not included with the tray.

This fit in our RV laundry closet exactly, so I'm pleased about that. We had thought to get a pan without the removable lip, but did not after reading the reviews of how other pans cracked during installation. I'm glad we did! It was VERY difficult getting our washer dryer in and connected. I'm sure any pan without a removable lip would have broken.I was disappointed that the corners of the removable lip were miscut (hence the -1 star), but I was not about to send it back, because we needed to get this thing installed...and it's not like anyone will be noticing it behind the closed door.

Good quality. A little pricey since you have to supply your own fitting and hose.

Was disappointed in this item. Since it is listed as a design for the Splendide washer dryer combo I expected more than what I received. First of all the washer combo is mostly used in rv’s, therefore we probably should use such a tray for potential leaks. Of course with the maze of lines and fittings, potential leaks are possible anywhere in a rv. Additionally you really need to secure the washer combo to prevent it from bouncing around while traveling. For securing the washer dryer combo. metal brackets are also designed and sold for this unit to secure the front feet to the floor. The problem I noted is you are not able to do both. The tray comes with the front edge, about an inch or so, cut off. This appears to have been done so you could slide the heavy washer combo unit into place and then secure the cut off part on the inside of the tray so it would act as a dam. Comes with a few screws and the sealing tape to do this. There is barely enough room to secure this piece in place, and no way to install the securing brackets also.Seemed like a poor design. The cut off piece wasn’t even close to being a straight cut. The height of the dam would also be lower then the rest of the tray. The instructions were very vague as well.If you don’t wish to secure the combo machine using the front feet brackets, then you will be able to just fit the machine in it. You will then have to deal with securing the “dam” into place. Return mine

I have fashioned "drain pans" for dishwasher before using some heavy rubber membrane and some thin wooden shim strips. When I found this bason I decided to give it a try.First this was the only such tray I could find that didn't simply direct the water to the front of the unit and then off onto the floor. If you've got wooden or laminate floors this could be disastrous if you ran your dishwasher when you were not home or if a leak formed while on vacation. Generally when I install these pans I will "drain" the unit into the basement or to somewhere where the damage will be easier to fix (I've never bothered to plumb them into a drain as keeping the tube full of water to "trap" would probably be forgotten by the homeowner). The down side of this unit is the way the unit's front attaches with screws and adhesive "tar" if your dishwasher is like the one I used this front either interferes with the leveling legs or will be too far out for your toe kick. I had to do substantial modificaitions to the front piece to get it to fit and after all that trouble I did not feel like I got the best seal, don't get me started on trying to install the screws when the dishwasher was in place, do yourself a favor and make sure you have a deep well 1/4" socket and plenty of patience. In all I was happy with the unit. Though I didn't use the drain away plug, I capped the plug they supplied and tapped my own in the bottom.
