About this item

  • 【Upgraded intelligent mode】: WG-032 6000 counts smart digital clamp meter features smart and manual dual measurement modes, ensuring enhanced safety, speed, accuracy, and flexibility. We upgrade the amp clamp meter. The default intelligent mode when the meter is on can automatically identify AC/DC voltage/current, resistance, and continuity measurement signals, making the operation more convenient and safe.
  • 【Safety & Multifunctional】:This amp meter is certified to CAT III 600V and RoHS standards, equipped with overload protection, and features audible and visual alarms. It measures AC/DC - current/voltage, NCV, Inrush, Live, resistance, capacitance, diode, continuity, frequency, and temperature. With functions such as data hold, auto power off, low battery indication, flashlight, and backlight display, shaped jaws can hold test leads and are more portable. And temperature for all of your measurement needs.
  • 【Inrush Current Measurement/Large HD color screen】:The multimeter includes advanced inrush current measurement capability, aiding quick identification of startup issues related to motors or starting circuits. Inrush current measurement ranges from 5-600 A and is applicable only in AC current mode; DC does not support inrush functionality. Easier to read than a traditional clamp meter. The HD color bright screen is good for working properly in dark places. Avoid reading the measurement value difficulty under direct sunlight. It is a good gift for friends and family.
  • 【Non-Contact Voltage Measurement】:This clamp meter utilizes non-contact voltage testing with audible and visual alarms. A weak AC signal triggers a green indicator light and a slow, audible beep, while a stronger signal triggers a red indicator light and a rapid beep. Completely safe non-contact voltage testing, without touching any wires
  • 【Warranty & Service 】 The package includes a digital clamp meter, two test leads, a pair of temperature probe pens, a carrying case, three AAA batteries, and a user manual. Safety standard IEC 61010-1, CAT IV 600V. We offer a 12-month after-sales service and lifetime technical assistance. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Very easy to read the display, even in bright sunlight. Better than other meters I've owned.Takes a couple seconds to give a reading, much like other autoranging meters.Easy to switch to manual mode and cycle through the various functions. Display clearly indicates where you are. It's pretty intuitive. In manual volts, meter defaults to DC. Requires an extra button push to get to AC. Baffles me why they don't default to AC, but most digital meters seem to work that way.The hold/flashlight button is in a lousy spot, so I sometimes bump it when using the clamp and put the meter in hold mode. Beeps when that happens, so I know.Plenty of room in the clamp, even for multiple conductors when checking for ground faults. The meter case is sturdy. Seems like it will survive minor drops, but I haven't managed to do that yet.Pretty typical size. Fits in my meter belt pouch.Takes three AAA batteries, not a crazy expensive 9V.Comes with leads that are the standard cheapo import ones. My good ones plug in fine.Includes a zipper soft case that everything fits in a little tight, but OK.I go through a meter about every two years. Even the super expensive name brand ones are import now and don't last, so I've been getting these inexpensive ones for a while. Don't know how this one will do, I've only had it a month, but being full auto it has no rotary switch, which is what usually fails. Here's hoping.

This WGGE WG-032 Smart Digital Clamp Meter is a handy tool for testing voltage and current. The auto setting makes it user-friendly even for those of us who are new to multimeters.Electrical has always been a bit intimidating because of the zappity-zap result if you get it wrong! 😆The color screen is pretty impressive with clear, easy-to-read results. The non-contact voltage (NCV) detection and live wire detection add layers of safety and convenience. The resistance and diode testing functions are very useful, making it a valuable tool for various electrical tasks.Overall, this clamp meter is functional and easy to use once you figure out the terms in the user manual. The tester has a very durable design. However, I am a bit intimidated by the variety of functions to choose from. I am learning one step at a time. The light isn't very bright, but it does light up your immediate project area. The clamp is easy to use one-handed. The probes work well. The user manual is not very helpful if you do not know the terminology. Some actual real-life instructions in laymans terms would be very useful in different scenarios. I have resorted to searching YouTube for instructions for testing various equipment, batteries, and wiring issues around my home and garage. This is a safe learning tool to further my electrical education.

My husband and I aren’t electricians, but we wanted a reliable tool for basic home projects like replacing light fixtures safely. This thing has been great—it’s accurate, easy to read, and has useful features like non-contact voltage detection and a bright display. The auto-ranging mode takes a little time, but manual selection works well. The included case keeps everything organized, and the clamp function is especially handy. There’s a bit of a learning curve (my brother IS an electrician, and I had to call him a lot), so I would have appreciated a more in-depth instructions manual/tutorial, but between my electrician-brother and YouTube vides, we managed to figure it out.

This meter reads the usual volts-amps-ohms, but adds capacitance, continuity, diode, frequency, and temperature. It can read current via clamp and it also can temperature. About the only thing it does not do is watts. The meter can auto-detect what you want to read or you can specify it. The display is digital and easily read. It even has a built-in flashlight. It is comfortable and easy to use and comes with a handy case. The only debatable issue is power. It uses 3 AAA batteries instead of a built-in rechargeable battery. Both options have advantages and disadvantages so that is up to the individual. The contactor tips at first seemed a bit short to me. Then I realized that they are protected and you can pull the protection off to make it easier to use. Which brings me to my only suggestion-it would be nice to have 2 sets of tips. The sharp point tips furnished, and alligator type tips. All too often 2 hands aren't enough and an alligator option would be useful. All in all an excellent device and well worth the money.

It's not a Fluke, but you get a lot for an inexpensive price. Accuracy is very high and display is bright and easy to read. Don't really use the auto mode because it takes too long, but use the Amps measurement capabilities and no touch live power validation more than expected. Provided case is also high quality and helps keep the probes and temp measurement attachment all in one place. After purchasing it I nolonger use any of my other multimeters.

How hard can a digital measuring meter be to use for an engineer, right? That's what I thought, didn't read the manual that came with it (very small letters and needs a magnifying glass). A great display, all sorts of features you need for an electrical handyman, but I couldnt figure out simple settings such as testing the rechargeable AAA batteries for the voltage and had to look up the manual! (almost, not that bad, but it was not intuitive to use the 2 function/select buttons to get to what you need to measure).Except for this one issue of usability, this is a great buy and does work well once you figure out how to use it!I would appreciate if they put a simple manual for various typical use cases for people as a quick start guide and that will make me give 5 stars to this product.
