If your appliance's temperature is inconsistent, replacing the sensor may alleviate this issue. To access this part, open the refrigerator door and locate the thermistor cover on the side wall of your appliance. Remove all shelves from the refrigerator, and then detach the thermistor from the cover. Using side cutters, cut the thermistor wires at the base and discard the old part. Next, pull the wires apart in the new thermistor and insert them into the old IDC splice connector.
