I needed this chalk for physics activities in my classroom. We are not writing with the chalk, although the chalk does do that fine on paper, but rather, we are attaching it to different objects and then smashing the objects into walls or dropping them from high distances. So, for those purposes, this chalk is exactly what I needed. It is easy to attach to the Pasco carts. While it will crush, it doesn't do it so easily that it ruins the experiments.

It’s good chalk be this time my page came like this it is less thin pleasing just a warning for the next buyer I just say it needs tape

I use this to prevent oxidation on my sterling silver jewelry so one to two pieces are placed on each shelf or in each drawer.

This box of 104 pieces of white chalk is a better buy compared to others that only give you 100 pieces of round chalk, rather than this chalk which is squared off, offering a bit more chalk per piece.Unfortunately, some of the chalk, being of a fragile nature, arrived broken. Other than that it wrote just like any other pieces of chalk and getting a smidge more per piece means that it lasts a little bit longer.If you need chalk, this box of 104 pieces of chalk is a better value than its rounded competitors.

I love these square chalk sticks! Why didn't someone thing of this before?! I finally have enough chalk to last forever and I no longer have to pick up pieces off the floor--they don't roll so they stay whole! The texture and coverage level are identical to every other chalk I have ever used. I am pleased.

square blocks which are easier to use than the round ones.The chalk was not 100% smooth though.

I am very disappointed in this. I needed chalk to mark live edge slabs and lumber in my sawmill. I will be using quite a bit of chalk for this purpose. So I thought this box would be a great deal.But my box of chalk arrived all broken up. Only maybe 1 out of every 5 pieces is intact. Some are broken up into tiny pieces. Some are in half. These are not large to begin with so being all broken up makes them hard to work with. Especially since I am working with rough sawn lumber. I need full sized pieces of chalk.These are also quite thin so they are even more fragile at best.They are not dust free but I prefer more natural chalk myself. Any additives could potentially stain the wood.

This box of chalks was mailed in a thin flexible plastic mailer like some booksellers use. Most good booksellers, btw, use a stiff kraft mailer to protect the contents. Consequently, and there is no other result remotely possible, the box was smashed and all the chalks were broken to smithereens. However, the product is pretty good. Someone else mentioned it is not low-dust, but I do not like the waxy ingredient used to create low dust chalk, I like chalk, which is what this is. The color is a good white, not the drab ecru you sometimes get with chalk, and the squared shape is always a good idea. So, aside from the interesting shipping choice of a mailer envelope, it's a good product for the price.
