I used these outside to hold up my curtain rod for my outdoor curtains. Being metal I don't have to worry about the sun making them brittle in a couple of years. I was able to install them easy enough.

Robust and sturdy, these are full on metal rod brackets that are a great value that you will immediately know will last a lifetime. I ordered these to replace some plastic closet rod brackets that had broken, but silly me did not notice that these are sized too small for standard wooden closet rods and are more for shower rods, or the smaller Closet Maid type of rods that are part of closet organization systems. Be mindful of the size if you thought to use for a similar purpose, but if they're the size for you, you will immediately know that these will last forever.

I'm putting up some rods to display my loungefly backpacks and these are exactly what I needed. They come with all needed hardware to put them up and so long as you have the wooden dowel, you can put them up evenly.

These are great hardware for hanging closet rods or any rods for that matter. These are made of metal, unlike most hardware options at this price range which often are from a hard plastic that deteriorates over time. Also like the design of having one fully circled and the other being u-shaped which helps tremendously when placing the rod. And even though this only works for 1” rods I find the size to be sufficient for holding the weight as long as you choose a suitable rod material. The only downside of having such a narrow rod is that you cannot run a long rod without mid support or else it will tend to bow, so if you are running a full sized closet from side to side I’d suggest going with either a 2” or wider rod.For the price it is definitely worth for what they are, and will be picking a few more pairs as we redo our closets.
