Your cart is empty.Pellon PLF36 Fusible Interfacing is an ultra lightweight interfacing for light to medium-weight fabrics. It is great for woven, knits, blouses, and sheer garments. It is excellent for use with crepe de chine, voile, and handkerchief linen fabrics. It can also be used for stabilization of quilting projects. 100% Polyester Lightweight fusible interfacing Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low or dry clean. General Directions: 1. Pin pattern piece to interfacing following grain-line arrows and cut. 2. Trim seam allowances to 1/4″. 3. Place fusible side of Pellon against wrong side of fabric. 4. Pin, then steam-baste along edges with tip of iron. Remove pins. 5. Set iron on Low-Permanent Press setting. (Use steam iron with metal sole plate. Hand-held steamers will not permanently bond interfacing to fabric.) 6. Cover with a damp press cloth and press down firmly for 10 seconds. 7. Repeat, lifting and slightly overlapping iron until all interfacing is fused. 8. Steam press on right side. 9. Let fabric cool, then check bond. There is no pre-shrinking required. Always pre-test with a swatch of fabric to make sure it is compatible with the fusible. Fusing is not recommended for triacetate, lace, seersucker, or rainwear. Use your damp press cloth as a temperature and timing guide. After 10-15 seconds, press cloth should be dry. If not, raise iron temperature or hold iron in place a few seconds longer.

This is the cheapest I’ve been able to find interfacing. I am very happy with the adhesion of it. It’s perfect for interfacing neck facings and collars. The rolls are narrow, so pay attention to the measurements in the description if you need bigger pieces. However, you can always cut several pieces if you need to interface a big surface. Highly recommended.

I used this last week, and it worked well. There were some problems getting it to adhere, but I think it was my technique rather than the product. It is a medium weight interfacing, and I used it on cotton. I probably needed a heavier weight for my project, but this did well enough for a test run. Three packages will last me a while.

Used this interfacing to reinforce a tissue paper pattern. I did have to turn the iron temperature up a bit in order to get the adhesive to stick- I think that could be the issue some are running into, as the directions call for a lower heat setting.Make sure the side that feels textured is against the fabric or pattern you are trying to reinforce- only one side contains adhesive. Also check the instructions for suitable fabric types- not all fabrics work with this particular interfacing.Overall I'm happy with my purchase- worked well and was cost effective. I will buy again for sure.
