There are a whole number of ways to use this stuff, but it particularly shines as a plumber's putty. It is stretchy and pliable, and can be molded stably into different shapes, as it sticks to itself. Creates a nice seal where needed. They've also included a full THREE individually packaged units, which is more than enough for a number of different jobs. It sets hard so that you can shape a contour when ready. Handy three-pack seems like a good idea for diy, occasional plumbers vs. pros, who will use up a whole container.I don’t have enough experience to fairly judge the quality of the putty vs. other brands, but it worked well for my needs and it’s nice to have a couple of packs in reserve that I’m not worried about drying out.

I got the 9 pack option. This is very soft putty. There are no instructions included, but the Chinese on the blocks basically repeat what's in the product description which is just basic instructions for using wall putty.The blocks are individually wrapped because they cure when they dry and it hardens up. It begins with the consistency of soft dough which helps it fill in gaps and holes, and then hardens up over time. There is a bit of shrinking, but not too much from what I've seen. There are no ingredients, so I have no idea what material it's made of or how long it'll last, but it works decently well to block off holes in the wall.

Update: Changing my review to 5 stars due to the quick response and help from Qidarusxl to resolve this.Waterproof Duct Seal Putty (3 pcs), only received 2. Looks like the the packing was opened and one is missing. A return the someone used 1 and returned the rest ???

I give an A to this moldable sealing clay! I originally selected it to replace some brown craft modeling clay my son had used to block a hole in our white windowsill. For the past year, that mismatched corner had been bugging me, and this product was exactly what I needed. It blended perfectly with the white surface and now looks seamless. Before stumbling upon it all I knew to use in the above situation is caulk: its smelly, requires a gun, gloves, water, a drop cloth- a whole caulk kit! And the results are usually an unsatisfactory outcome just because of the nature of the product. This moldable product is just way better. So far, I’ve used it to seal that window corner and plug another tiny hole in my kitchen where sugar ants were sneaking in. Next on my list is patching the corner of drywall near our shower, where moisture has caused some warping and mold. This next project will be a little more involved: cutting out that section of drywall, scraping out the mold, treating it with mold killer, and sculpting the waterproof clay over the corner. Before I found this product I didn’t know what to use to fix it and maintain the fix. Had I replaced it with more drywall the same thing would have happened quickly, and lots of caul, a caulked corner, would be real ugly. I have high hopes this waterproof modeling clay will be the answer to fixing the wall corner that needs to be waterproof. Embarking on this project, It probably helps that I have a fine art background so sculpting a wall corner isn’t intimidating now that I have the right product. For anyone that doesn’t have this background I suggest finding and watching some basic sculpting video tutorials first. If I can get the right angle to make one on my bathroom project I will add it. I love that the clay comes in small, individually wrapped sections—so practical! It stays fresh, and I don’t have to worry about the entire amount drying out before my next project. This product takes the dread out of small household repairs by greatly simplifying the process, and the end result is better.
