It’s so easy to install, good for the money, looks nice and pretty stable but there’s a wooden piece that just doesn’t fit. Either the screw on the stick is too small to reach through the wooden piece to install to the base. Or it’s unnecessary. In my case it was unnecessary it works fine without the wooden piece connecting the base and stick.

This is a decent quality product. It was extremely easy to assemble. It does its job. I attempted to make my own dress form but the chest was too small but other than that this is a good product.

I barely used this dress tripod for my manikin body and it’s already falling apart. I am so frustrated that I got this at the end of December 2023 and I went to use it today (first week) October 2024 and it’s already falling apart- the bottom. Don’t waste your money buy some thing else.

So I bought this item, the dress makers base/pole. The other reviews said it was not put together well but I bought it anyway. I had to modify it to get the pieces to fit together and the screw to attach the wooden portion of the pole was slightly crooked. The metal pole for it is too thin for my dress form but I just put a rag at the end to make it a little more stable. So after sanding and filing down some of it, it does fit together but is slightly askew. It does hold my dress form up though, so that is a plus. I should have known better then to purchase it but I wasn't sure any of the dress form bases would have fit my dress form without costing to much. It does work so far for what I needed it to do. It is easy to put together if the pieces would have fit right in the first place.

OK, I went on Pinterest and made my own dress form. Just so you know, it's much harder than it looks. Anyway, I needed a stand and this was absolutely perfect! It makes my dress form look professionally made. It would make a great stand for a cool lamp or something like that too. I'm very please. :)
