The feedback appears to be mixed, and this brand also posts inconsistent sizing tables, but my pair ran small relative to the charts. I ordered a size up and they are snug. The overall quality of these boots appears fine, and much better than my previous Alpina boots that literally disintegrated over time. My biggest concern is with the lacing system. My suspicion is that it will not last long and then make the boots useless, but it is too soon for me to tell.

1) The offbrand BOA are terrible. They frequently get stuck and pop open far too easily. They require much more fussing to get right than traditional BOA, which sorta defeats the purpose of the system.2) I should have guessed, but as a novice backcountry skier I didn't know that you need a way more supportive boot to have good downhill control. I guess this boot makes sense if you somehow ended up with NNN-BC bindings on classic skis and aren't planning on doing any XCD, or if you're an elite skier who can make do with zero support.3) As a boot, these are pretty dang comfortable. I know because I had to walk down a mountain after realizing these boots didn't give me enough control to feel safe on the XCD route down, despite its fairly low angle. For a real backcountry Nordic / XCD boot, look at the Alpina Alaska or the heavier-duty leather boots from Alico, Crispi, or Asolo. They're more expensive, but can you put a price on being able to turn?

I can’t wait to use these boots! I’m having knee surgery this month so I probably won’t be using them this season but next winter I’ll be living in them. I bought them because I can’t find my original boots. Fit my skis perfectly!!! Guess I’ll have to update or maybe try before my surgery!!! Probably dumb idea, huh!!!

I bought these boots hoping that I would have had more opportunity to use them and by the time they came a week after ordering, the snow turned to basically ice. But in the one time that I did use them, they worked well. I normally where a size 11 in most of my shoes and boots, and these fit too size. I was glad to find a boot that fit the BC - Back Country skies that I bought at an estate sale. I had NO idea that XC skies had so many binding configurations as the last time I went skiing it basically was the three pin bindings. I might suggest getting some gators to keep the snow from falling into your boots. All and all it was a great purchase that I hope to be using a lot more.

Beautiful, amazing product but,I seem to have made a mistake on the size because the boots are a little small and tight on my feet I were a size 13 boot in US size.Thank you

Most cross country bindings won't fit this boot, it's also pretty cheap looking and poorly made. The laces seem flimsy and like they will damage the boot overtime.
