I'll start with the positives. Despite being a "wide" neck it doesn't feel like a baseball bat. It feels sleek and comfortable in the hand. For frets that haven't been leveled, they aren't that bad. There are only a handful of high frets until you get to the heel where it gets a little more uneven.I believe conventional wisdom is that you do not want to use flatsawn timber for guitar necks, because this is the least rigid. I could think for a 12 string this is even more important, due to the extra tension. The neck I received is flatsawn.I haven't strung it up yet, but so far the fretboard itself is straight. Not warped. Fingers crossed.I tried to capture pictures of all the wonkiness. The thickness of the fretboard is uneven. It's substantially thicker on the treble side vs the bass side. The sides of the fretboard aren't uniform. On the bass side it slants quite a bit. The chamber on the fret ends isn't in a straight line, so when you sight down the neck on the bass side you see a substantial curve. Other than that, it's just pretty rough, with some scratches and tooling marks. Will update my review when I've tried stringing it up.

Just got it today, so haven’t built anything around it yet. But, packaging was good and no damage. Quality looks good for the money.
