The cable length helps to be able to have more placement options. The signal increased from -68db before with the old antenna to -49db with this one. However, there was no increase in speed.

Great investment to extend Bluetooth connectivity. My new motherboard ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E came with a 2.5' external antenna for it's Bluetooth and wireless connectivity. For the first time I was able to walk around my house with Bluetooth headphones on without them disconnecting. However with this new novelty I got greedy. I noticed when I walked outside it would start breaking up as soon as I got about 10ft out the door. So I could rock out as I cleaned the house but not my car? I wondered if there might be a solution.Enter this well rated external antenna. Before connecting it I marked the line outside where my headphone completely disconnected. I installed the new antenna, raising the antenna to the top of my speaker stand and about 5' closer to outside than the original antenna. If I gained anything more than 5' I thought I could attribute it to the new antenna (and height). Terrific results. I made it another 100+ feet outside, all the way to my mailbox before it disconnected.I can officially stream from my PC while I clean out my car, take out the trash, get the mail, or garden. Of course I could always have done this streaming from my phone, but for less than $20 this is a great investment. Very happy.

Work great. Sit on outside of camper, the distant from Asus AiMesh nod is roughly 275 feet which is located above 16 foot metal garage door.Fits our application great and I would recommend this product

This helped with my Bluetooth connection to my headset, before installing this if I waled away from my PC I would loose sound now I can walk all the way to my bedroom

I paired this with the OKN WiFi 6E AX5400 PCIE adapter which scored high speeds/value (26$) on Tom's Hardware, but suffered from slower speed on far distances (25ft+).I was hesitant on the 10 ft extension however:(Variables: Router is about 30 ft away hidden behind living room couch with 1 wall blocking from bedroom. ISP speed is "1000Mb")Speed before the extension: 200-300MbsSpeed after the extension: 350-500MbsI could probably get more speed by moving the router or my PC, but it would be a pain due to where ATT installed the hook up and I would have to rearrange this entire room.10/10 This is a low cost and effective way to increase speed all while reducing headache of moving things around.

2 bars to 5 instantly. Just screw the leads to the threaded male fittings on your pc. No software to fiddle with or power source needed. I love it when a problem, in this case weak signal, is solved inexpensively and quickly. Highly recommended.

I like the length of the cable that it comes with so i can put it where i want it at. I haven't had any connection issues since i started using it so that is a major plus.

I've upgraded to this antenna from using my motherboard antenna, and was very surprised the connection to my Bluetooth headset and Wi-Fi network improved so much! No more network drop-outs or stuttering audio from my Sennheiser headset.The cable is nice and long, the base heavy and magnetic enough to stick to the side of the computer case.
