Exactly what I wanted! Nice to be able to find it online at a decent price considering most retail stores, local and surrounding cities dont carry much Wii merchandise anymore therefore limiting their availability.

Pros:It's got hand grip thingiesBest button layout for a controller (if it had the ergonomics of an xbox 360 controller and paddles, it'd be the best controller ever)Cons:Expensive when bought new or from a retailerI bought mine used and it came all yellowed from sweat and everything the person who used it last touched it withI actually opened it up to clean and there were dead bugs inside.

Ein Classic Controller für die Wii in weiß. Hat mir noch gefehlt zu meinem Schwarzen, Roten und Goldenen. Farbe muss sein!

Remote works fine after a year of use. We don't play very often but it hasn't failed yet.

came as listed, but does not work for Mario games. Does not work with game Amazon bundles with it. Do research first. Have not found a game it works with yet for the wii.

Plugs into the Wii remote and functions as a controller for Wii / virtual console games. Works just as you expect it to. Even if your console isn't Japanese, the classic controller will work just fine The controller fits comfortably in my hands and is reminiscent of a Gamecube controller, albeit with the positions of the left analog stick and directional pad switched. It arrived with no problems and in very nice packaging, so shoutouts to Japan for getting it right!I initially bought two of these - one for me and one for my brother - to play Smash Brothers on the Wii U, since I couldn't get my hands on the official Gamecube controller adapter released by Nintendo. I have no complaints whatsoever about the buttons or the analog sticks. They feel great. The only gripe I have is that I feel there's a very slight amount of input lag when I play. I'd like to reiterate that it's very slight - my brother says he doesn't notice at all. For me, however, there's a noticeable difference in how I'm able to play the game when using the classic controller vs. using the Wii U game pad or the 3DS (I don't experience any input lag with the latter two). I'm sure there's no fault with the controller; if you're using any wireless controller, there's bound to be some latency issues. This is literally the only reason why I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5. Depending on your purposes, this may be the perfect controller for you. If you're looking for the most precision you can get, however, a wired controller would be a better option (in which case, a Gamecube controller would be your best bet).

What can I say? It's pleasing to the eye, sturdy, 100% functional and cheaper than the American version. Bought two of these babies and have had no issues! Works with Wii VC titles(I've tried paper mario 64, F-Zero 64, Super smash bros 64, and Super Metroid for snes) and works with all Wii homebrew channel emulators such as Play Station/N64/GBA/SNES/NES/Etc. If you are interested in hacking your Wii so you can play these emulators and other homebrew games search "Wii letter bomb soft mod hack". There are tons of interesting apps to check out and you can even install a hack that lets you load Wii/Gamecube games onto a USB stick or hard dive and play them all from one memory source! Anyways, very happy with these two controllers, one of the best purchases I've made!

Same as the US version. Decent controller; I bought it to play Smash Bros Brawl on the Wii U. At first I had some trouble trying to set up custom controls to make Smash feel more natural on it; I'd rank it as the second best controller for playing Smash after the Gamecube controller now that I'm used to it. Unfortunately the small grips causes my rather large hands to get cramps when I'm mashing the buttons.

This arrived as it should have: brand-new, in-the-box, Nintendo-brand Wii Classic Controller PRO, shiro-style (white). I bought this one because it was cheaper than the U.S. version at the time, and it will come in handy for Wii games that can't be played with the Wii-U gamepad or Wii-U Pro controller, while also working on some Wii-U titles like Mario Kart 8. It came with the (Japanese) documentation and even a Club Nintendo product registration number, but unfortunately the U.S. site would not accept the number as valid--then again, the Classic Controller is not currently showing at all on the list of eligible hardware devices on the U.S. site. The cord length is acceptable, given that it has to be there. The analog sticks, D-pad, and face buttons are great, as are the L and R triggers. The ZL and ZR triggers, though, throw me a bit--they seem to be placed a bit farther down than I would prefer, especially given that they're convex (somewhat like a PS3's L2/R2) instead of concave (like the bottom triggers on XB360 and PS4 controllers). For Mario Kart 8 you can use either set of triggers so it doesn't matter, but for other games this may take a bit of getting used to: even though these triggers aren't unlike a PS3 controller's bottom triggers, they still manage somehow to feel awkward. All triggers on the PRO are digital--if you have one of the very few games that makes use of the analog ability of the triggers on the original Classic Controller, you might consider sticking with that model. This controller feels really nice in the hands, especially after using the Wii-U gamepad for a while. As above, for Mario Kart 8 the L and ZL function identically, as do the R and ZR. The right-stick (down and up) can be used in place of B and A for reverse/brake and accelerator, respectively. The D-pad can be used for turning, though it's digital, all-or-nothing turning instead of the nice analog turning you get with the left stick. Overall, I think I may end up preferring this to my other current control options for this game (Wii-U Gamepad, Wiimote in wheel mode, Wiimote+Nunchuk), but I don't yet have a Wii-U Pro Controller to compare against. It's nice that Nintendo made Mario Kart 8 compatible with just about every controller type and combination for the platform.
