Product description

MODEL- RVLAFW VENDOR- NINTENDO FEATURES- Wii Nunchuk Controller Contoured to perfectly fit a players hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. The Nunchuk controller connects to the Wii Remote controller at its expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk controller contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote controller but also includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. In several games, players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk controller to move their characters and the Wii Remote controller to perform a specific action, whether thats throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game. Along with the analog stick, the motion-sensing Nunchuk controller also contains two buttons positioned for quick access. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous nature of the Wii controllers grants accessibility seldom seen in game controllers. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:andnbsp;andnbsp;12 Months

The Wii Nunchuk controller is a secondary controller that adds even more innovation to the next generation of gaming, and does it all with less physical movement.

Used in conjunction with the standard Wii remote, certain games need the Nunchuk controller for additional control options. Contoured perfectly to fit a player's hand,
The Wii Nunchuk (left) connects directly to the Wii remote. . the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk contains the same three-axis motion sensor found in the Wii Remote, but also includes an analog stick, and two buttons to help assist in character movement.

Many games will allow you to control your character's movement with the Nunchuk in your left hand, while your right hand is free to execute the action movements with the Wii Remote. For example, the Nunchuk is particularly useful for games like Wii Boxing. You can use the Nunchuk to punch with your weaker hand, while you use the Wii remote to punch and jab with your predominant hand.

Take the fun to the next level with two-handed control of your games. . In first-person shooters, the Nunchuk controller carries the burden of movement, freeing you to aim and fire using a more natural motion with the Wii Remote. In a football game, you can make your quarterback elusive with the Nunchuk controller while you search for an open receiver to throw to using the Wii Remote. Serious gamers may even want to use two Nunchuk controllers to gain a fierce competitive edge.

Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. Perfectly suitable for either right or left-hand use, the Wii Nunchuk controller grants accessibility not often seen in previous game controllers.

Also, the Nunchuk controller doesn't need its own power--it plugs into the Wii Remote controller when it's in use. So there's no need to worry about charging or replacing expensive batteries.

Adding a Nunchuk to your Wii system will definitely help you open the doors to the next level of gaming, and seriously step up performance. Just be careful not to knock out your significant other, or bruise the dog, severely, while using one, or two Nunchuk controllers.

I like this authentic Nintendo Wii Nunchuck. Been using it for about 7-8 years now and even after a lot of heavy use it hasn't broken on me yet!

Bought two of these as they were cheap and the official controllers. Other than the packaging, they were in perfect condition and worked great. Highly recommend.

We use this for wii fit, wii play, DDR...etcGames using nunchuks seem more fun! It's very simple to use--just plug it in.When we use this for workouts, it makes me feel better psychologically--like I'm using both my arms so I must be using both sides of my body so I must be building muscle on both sides =pWhen we use this for games, it's really fun to watch my 6 year old brother enjoying himself and getting proper exercise (if we can't go out for the day). His coordination is not so good, but he feels more confident when he can play games with both the wii controller and nunchuk (and, for example, gets more points on DDR, and therefore makes the whole household a happier place to be). It's white, and we aren't clean freaks, and it's stayed white over the years. We've lost it a couple of times, too, but no harm done when we've found it. We've also dropped it many many times, and well, it's quite sturdy and has not broken down on us!If you haven't gotten this accessory, you are missing out!

This controller is a necessary evil and works fine, several games require both the Wii Plus and Nunchuk to control them. You can look on the games at the top right corner of the back of the packaging to see which controllers are necessary. There should be an outline of the controller that is required. AGAIN: This controller may be necessary to play some games.Kids will master the control in about 5 seconds, adults may never figure it out. I guess it could teach kids to be ambidextrous, which is probably good. The Nunchuk controller requires the standard Wii or Wii plus controller to work. The nearly 3 foot cable coming from the Nunchuk is inserted into the Wii controller.Make sure you have enough Wii controllers before you buy more Nunchuks as they will not work on their own.No Batteries are required for the Wii Nunchuk, it is powered by the Wii controller. The Nunchuk has a thumb toggle and 2 push buttons. There is no leash for the Nunchuk, so be careful when slinging it around. The shape is contoured and the size seems to work for small children and adults. The top is glossy and the bottom is textured for grip.Build quality is adequate, I am not sure why they are around $20 each.Their are other options that you can consider similar to the classic style controllers older generations of gamer are used to. They also require a standard Wii controller to plug into.Tangent:As a child of the late 70's and the 80's... I am starting to feel like I am missing the tech curve and the reasoning in packaging controllers with systems.I adapted from Atari 2600 (Still works 30+ years later), to Nintendo (Still works 25+ year later), to Playstation (Still works), to Playstation2 (Still works), and now the Wii.Why do I need 2 controllers, one for each hand? 30 years of 1 controller, why now do we need two controllers? Also:Remember when you were a kid and your Atari and Nintendo came with 2 controllers for 2 players... now you get 1 set of controllers for 4 players. So, the console with 1 controller and 1 nunchuk is $149.Then controller $30 each, nunchuck $20 each, Steering wheel $10 each... times 3.You would need to spend an additional $180 for all four players to play.So after nearly $350 everyone can play the one game the system comes with...

I just got a couple of these when the price dropped to around 15. They were sold by 'direct distributor' and fulfilled by amazon. The packages included the nunchuck and a blue silicone skin. When I got them, I was concerned that they weren't genuine since I expected them to be manufactured by Nintendo. I inspected one and it looked identical to the one that came with the system (didn't compare the cord length), but I figure it is easy enough to copy the few details on the device. Since these are made by BD&A (I forget the exact name, something Deutch & Associates), I wondered if the Nintendo Genuine logo was a counterfeit. I called Nintendo at 9pm on a Sunday night, and amazingly someone answered! To my surprise, she was quite knowledgeable and helped me determine that the BD&A nunchucks have in fact been certified. She told me that they spend a lot of time testing these and warned against non-certified ones, especially those who steal power from the remote. Since I have had nothing but bad luck with 3rd party controllers in the past, that was preaching to the choir.Anyways, I thought I would share my findings here. If you get one with the blue skin and it is made by BD&A, it is in fact a nintendo certified controller. Happy gaming!

I got tired of the original "white" nunchuck, so while getting my newest black wii remote I also decided to purchase a new black nunchuck to go with it. The two items together look great!! Much better than having plain old white like I used to have. Also, there are cheaper nunchucks on here that are knock offs (in other words, Nintendo did not make them. A third party did). After my experience with knock offs I recommend you ALWAYS buy Nintendo brand products. Even though it may appear to be exactly as the original, save your money and always buy the original if you want your product to function the way it should and last a few years, rather than a few hours. I purchased mine "used" and it works as if it were brand new. This goes to show that when Nintendo themselves makes a product, you can guarantee it will last a long time. I myself would purchase a used Nintendo product, over a new third party knock off any day because I have had my experience once with that already. I learned from that mistake.Overall, if you are looking for a black nunchuck, then purchase this one!
