I hung this off my porch next to some windchimes. The colors are lovely and intense and it moves nicely.

Updated as of Aug. 18, 2024:Although only the center part (i.e., the owl part) has been in use thus far, the item is still satisfactory because the artwork really shines through as it spins, and it spins very smoothly. I would have given a five-star rating if the center part had not been broken off from the rest.-------------------------------------------------The instruction says to "fan out" the several outer sections of the item. Unfortunately, it is easier said than done. In my case, I almost made it into a spherical form by "fanning out" various sections, but the center section (i.e. the owl part) broke off the whole thing at the last minute, making it useless. Well, not completely useless. I am now hanging only the flat center section (the owl part) which spins as wind blows. This item as a whole is bulky in a spherical form anyway. If you successfully make it into a perfect spherical form, you should make sure that there is plenty of space around the object so that it can spin freely. The idea behind developing this product is plausible, but it failed miserably in practice, at least in my situation.

I got these in December, but just now putting them out, was waiting for the bad weather to pass, wish i had opened them sooner, to check to make sure they did want they are supposed to do, I'm very upset to buy 4 for $80, and they don't spin!

I love these wind spinners. They are so pretty out in my yard. Good quality, but I find that they fade in the sun after a good while. I usually hang them on my shepherds hook. Good price considering they do fade and you have to buy them every few years, but I will not let that take away from my five star review. I’m trying to take them inside more often.

Gifted the spinning sunflower to my wife for mothers day. She likes it so much we have it in a window we open often so she can watch it spin inside the house. : )I will be buying a few different designs in the future to place outdoors. When you first get your spinner it will be delivered flat. You will need to "twist out" the inside sections to make it three dimensional. This part is kind of daunting because you feel like you may break it, you won't. Best thing I can say is start at the middle and once the middle and outer ring make a + when look down directly over top, you are done.

Very pretty spinner but thinner metal than others I've purchased. It was a little difficult to spread out the cutouts but it was manageable. Looks pretty when it spins and it is very colorful.
