Why is it an odd size, why are all of you items an odd size?! I wasted my money, don't waste yours. By the way get a tape measure since you don't know what you are selling. Don't buy this!

The plastic certainly is thick enough, and the concept of the system is awesome, but the adhesive does not hold And the plastic falls off! However, I used clear thumbtacks in the corners and reapplied the plastic and now it holds. The manufacturer should add 4 tacks per window with this system. Once the system is in place, it does a good job keeping the draft out. This is a two person easy install! Especially if your windows are large! I do not recommend trying to install this system by yourself.

twice i put up a normal shrink kit & my cat ripped a hole in it in seconds so i know i needed something else bc this window is extremely drafty. i came across this & reviews were 50/50 but after receiving it, it’s perfect. my cat tried to mess with it right away & after she couldn’t poke it she’s left it alone. it didn’t come with instructions but i found it pretty self explanatory i had it up in less than 30 minutes, the velcro stuck great, mine is in front of a closed blind window so i wasn’t worried about seeing through it but i didn’t find it cloudy, the white push pin things give it more security in the corners bc it’s pulled taught & the draft pushes against it pretty hard. with the normal shrink kit you could hear it move a lot with the draft & kinda still feel the cold, bc this is thicker & installed better i don’t get either of those things.

I just got it yesterday, sure its not perfectly clear but I can see just fine. Its thicker than then common cheap stuff with the double sided tape, I saw a lot of complaints on most of the brands that it didn't stick well! This sticks like gorilla tape! Awesome! I'm buying more of this exact one! Cause of that!

I tried this kit because I wanted thicker plastic than the thin shrink film I had been using before. It does seem sturdy, and like it will hold up over multiple seasons and not tear, which is great. The velcro is very convenient and also seems good. But it's not as clear as the shrink film, and I don't know if I'll be able to be happy with the reduced sunlight all winter. It's already dark enough here in the northern latitudes. You can see out of it, but it's kind of foggy looking. I don't know if any plastic this thick is available that's clearer, but I'm hoping to be able to find some.
