About this item

  • Not available from OEM
  • No need to buyer complete regulator
  • OEM supplier quality
  • High Quality Materials
  • For those suffering from slow or stuck or down windows: now the clip itself is available. OEM often do NOT offer the clips; instead, you have to buy the complete regulator at high cost. The 'symptoms' of broken clip: - window moving slowly - slight tilt of the window on one side when going up - need help by hand to go up - window moving up slowly and reversing/going down. Those are signs of a broken clip. Chances are the 2nd clip breaks (at which point the window stays down)

Fits Jeep Liberty models from 2002 to Feb 2006. NOT the later models! Make sure your clips looks like the one shown in the listing!!!

It fit perfectly. Ease of installation was correct. The power window is once again operational. Priced just right. Saved megabucks with my DIY fix. If you have the time, do it yourself.

I bought a used Jeep Liberty about two weeks ago and have found so many various things wrong with it. Always go through a used car with a fine toothed comb. Both back windows were "off-track". It's not really off track, but rather this clip ends up breaking. This is a direct replacement for the guide in my 2002 Liberty and just like the stock part, it's not perfect. Be careful, take your time and you can assemble it without the threaded tube breaking like the original. The lifter rod doesn't turn in this piece, so after cracking the first one, opted to be a little safer and only screwed it in halfway. From there I added a little quick set epoxy to strengthen the hold. The first one I installed was a little tricky, but I had this one out, repaired and back in the car in under 15 minutes. Don't misplace the window clip you removed from the original, you'll need it again for this guide. If it breaks again, I'll switch it to the metal version. For now, this takes care of my needs and at a fraction of the metal version cost.
