I looked for a set of these at ace hardware and they were 3x the price. The work well on grill grates and other tight spoth where you need to get in between a tight space. The bristles seem to be thick & wont bent like cheap other types.

If you use these things as often as I do, and with the same heavy handedness, you understand that the wire bristle brushes only last for one project before needing to be replaced. I am ALWAYS buying these because I go through them so fast. For the price, having 9 brushes of different sizes that can reach in all sorts of crevices and into corners is awesome. This whole set costs about as much as a 3 pack at the chain hardware stores in your area and are of the same quality or better.

This is a good value set of various brushes. You get three different handle types, bristle layouts, bristle densities, and each handle type has three different types of bristles (stainless, nylon and brass). At the current price right under $16, each brush is just over a dollar which represents a good value to me. These are all good quality but not high end obviously. These are brushes that get the job done at a reasonable price. Hopefully my pictures help provide the rest of the detail you might need. I would defiantly come back for more when needed!

This is really just a bundle of low/medium quality wire brushes. I use brushes like this to clean tools and hardware. They're really a must for me. One brush had a bristle that was too long. Pretty standard quality.

It's good to always keep a set of various wire brushes. These are a good value for the amount of wire brushes you get.

I think these were originally sold as three different kinds of brushes--the long black handled ones, the red handled ones, and the short black handled ones. Each came in separate packaging inside the box.Regardless, they filled a need for me. I've previously used the red-handled kind until they're worn out (the bristles don't get that short, but the wire ones do eventually bend and get in the way of your fingers). I especially use brass wire bristles for softer surfaces, like aluminum. That said, of the three "brass" brushes in this kit, two are actually brass coated steel--meaning that they aren't really good for soft surfaces (nor will their anti-spark ability hold up, as the brass wears off). The small black-handled brass brush seems to have genuine brass bristles (they aren't magnetic, unlike the other two brushes with brass-colored bristles).
