I have a boat load of 4 gauge that was dropped in my lap from the manufacturer that went out of business and this cable stripper is fantastic. Fast easy to set up. I haven't used it with the drill but the hand crank works just fine. The parts seem robust minus the plastic crank handle.

If you try going up to the max diameter without make adjustments to the spring tensioner you will end up sending the cutting blade right into the adjustment screw/nut and destroy your blades. Other than that it's a great little piece to have sitting on my desk to process scraps of wire

Hopefully this product works as well as described, my father likes to scrap wire so I fig this would make it easier for him to clean wire..I opened the box to check it out atleast ,looks solid, semi confusing to put together unless you can read Japanese or Chinese one of them Asian languages no disrespect I just can't tell the difference..but looks like it can be anchored to a table nicely..so far great value for the price..does give an extra blade ..will give a updated review after Christmas 2024.thank you

I wasn't sure what to expect with this product, but after about 3 hours of stripping scrap wire, I ended up with over $75.00 worth of bare copper.

I have a little side business making automotive wire harnesses and had accumulated a bunch of scrap wire that I needed to strip to recycle. My scrap wire was a mix from 20 gauge up to 6 gauge and mostly cross-linked insulation with some PVC and EPDM thrown in. This stripper handled it all. I used my cordless drill to run it and didn't even mount it to a table. It took a second to get it adjusted right for each wire size, but once I did it ran through the pile pretty quick. Only issue I had was when I adjusted it for the 6 gauge wire. At first I adjusted the plate with the wire holes too high. It was touching the wheel and I didn't notice. I got some really inconsistent cuts then as it would sometimes bind on the plate. Once I saw what was happening, it was an easy fix. I need to sharpen the blade now but it's my fault. In summary, works great, would buy again.
