This item is absolutely fantastic. I'm so sorry I didn't know it existed sooner. The manual is cryptically written and it's best if you just plug it in and try to figure it out without the manual.

It's a great way to use your wired Android Auto infotainment of your vehicles. Now I am more inclined to use the infotainment than ever before.Read the instruction though to initially connect, though it's straight forward, there's a little unique way to connect it. But eventually it's works like a charm.I was able to connect two phones in it. And it says in the instruction that the last phone used will be the default. I wish the cord could be longer so I can tuck it in, but it's not the case, I just hope it is durable enough to withstand the bent it got.No difference on the quality of the sound so I guess that is a plus.Highly recommended. AAA+++

First of all this thing is super easy to install. Installation and connecting was no issue. I love that it works with the already existing Android Auto. I didn't want some janky looking Android auto so thats great. Yes it uses Bluetooth at first to make the connection but then switches to wifi. (Runs off mobile data). I read here some reviews of people complaining about how there is delays and it cuts off during use. I have a 20 honda accord and my wife has 21 accord. She was wireless AA and I don't. Her car which has wireless AA already on the car cuts off sometimes and there is also delays so to me it isn't an issue. Not all things work 100%. With that I noticed I have to be connected on my car specifically to bluetooth first in order to be able to connect to the AA flawlessly. Great device to get rid of the cable for AA.

After pairing with my phone and car, the adapter connected easily and quickly. It was great ... for a few days. After a maybe three or four days, though, it stopped connecting. I tried unplugging and plugging the adapter back in, but it still wouldn't connect. I tried re-pairing. Still wouldn't work.I contacted the company, which (initially) responded quickly and sent me (complicated, 8-step) instructions for updating the unit. The instructions didn't work--in step 3, I was supposed to open a website, but the site wouldn't open. So, now I'm stuck with a non-functioning product. Fortunately, I can still return it for a refund, but it's still a hassle.UPDATE. After responding right away, no one from the company answered my follow up--i.e., asking what I should do since I couldn't get past step 3. Thus, while I was initially impressed by their customer service, now I'm disappointed. I decided to return the product for a refund and to deduct another star from my review.

I have it plugged in and it worked great for about four days .Now I see that I get signal that the USB is not connected but it is and then it drops signals then it comes back reconnect .This happens at least 5 to 6 times in a short time about 26-30 mins drive to work and home so that would be a told of 10-12 different times it dose this .I don't get it . I'm ready to return this.

I received this unit today, 2 days late. Because it was a cheaper model, I was a bit worried it might not work well. I needn't have worried. Read the very brief manual. Plugged it into my Chevy Equinox USB data port. I kind of expected something to happen on the car's screen... nothing. So went ahead and paired it to my Android phone (has Android 13). Boom! There it was on my car's screen just like it had been with the phone plugged into the USB port. Now I won't be forgetting and my phone in the car! VERY PLEASED WITH THIS DEVICE SO FAR. As always, time will tell. I'd buy a second one but unfortunately her car doesn't have Android Auto wired in. On hers, I got a more expensive type with its own screen, Bluetooth, FM transmitter, etc. Much harder to get it to cooperate and mount... but it works well also. Glad I don't have to use one like hers... BECAUSE I HAVE "THIS" DEVICE & hard-wired AA.

I tried four different AA wireless adapters and stuck with this one. This is not 100% reliable nor is it anywhere close to being a perfect workaround, but given a little patience, it works and is much better than having to plug my phone in every time I get in my car.First as many have already mentioned, you WILL have AV sync issues. It's not too bad though.Second I noticed that the four AA wireless adapters I tried all have the same Bluetooth name, which suggests that the internal chip is more or less the same, if not exactly the same. But for some reason this one was the most reliable for me.I have used this adapter for a few weeks straight now and each time you start your car it takes a few seconds to connect, but it should do so automatically. Every now and then my car tells me the plugged-in device doesn't work, I just hit OK and it tries again and almost always works right away. There were maybe three times I had to unplug and replug and it worked again. But great majority of the time it just works. It's great not just because I no longer have to manually plug the phone it, I can also plug my phone into a fast charger as we all know how battery-draining running AA can be.
