This did work, but the build quality was very bad. It fell apart pretty quickly. But it still worked and was fast.

Compact, good quality, strong signal:This product is very compact and easy to store away in a glove compartment or similar when not in use. The product is about the size of a thumb drive and sticks right into the USB port. The materials used are pretty durable and not easy to damage during normal use, but just keep in mind that since the product gets plugged right into the port, it's more vulnerable to damage if you accidently hit the top of the unit since it can put a lot of stress on the USB input, so if your center console area is very cluttered this might not be the best product to use without a dongle or adapter. The product's wireless signal and sound quality are quite good - the product is quick to connect and provides a strong, stable connection that doesn't drop or distort the sound while using. The product integrates very well with carplay and works pretty seamlessly.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

This is great! It took a few tries to set it up properly in my 2019 Tahoe. I paired an android phone and had to try a few times. The instructions are for Apple products, but they say it works with Android... AND IT DOES! Be patient and use common sense, within 15 minutes or so you'll be connected. Once setup it automatically connects each time afterward, just leave it plugged in in the car. It's very compact, but if space is tight you may want a USB to USB extension so you can bend it out of the way. It does fit in a 2019 Tahoe center console without interfering with the lid. It came with a USB a to USB C adapter also, but I didn't need it. EDIT: If you use remote start it will timeout before the car engine times out. Shut the car off and turn iit back on= connects perfectly (special thanks to my wife.)

This is perfect for my wife's 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe.Surprisingly she is unable to connect wirelessly to her car's CarPlay; whether that's due to lack of capability or not fully understanding her car's features is another topic, but she insists she can only do so with a cable. That cable protrudes out of one of her compartments that cannot close because, well, there's a cable coming out of it. Not anymore. This is *very* easy to setup and super easy to use. Pretty much plug it in, confirm/allow the connection, and your CarPlay is off and running, wirelessly. I also appreciate that it comes with an adaptor. When we travel some rental cars do not have USB-C so now, whether we're at home or traveling, CarPlay will always work wirelessly. Definitely very happy to have this.

It disconnects all the time, and some time does work with the cruise controls

So far this works great to have wireless CarPlay (CP) in my 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. I simply plugged this in to a CP-capable USB port in my center console and I didn't use the included USB-C adapter. I then saw my radio's screen refresh with just an icon that said connect to CarPlay. I just had to connect to the available CP unit named "Smartbox_5621" via Bluetooth and CarPlay was then an option to choose from my main screen. I did notice that it gave me an error in the Bluetooth Settings for the listed device name stating that the connection was unsuccessful, but I tried several CP apps from my phone and they all worked great, even audio streaming from Amazon Music. So at this point it works great and was easy to set up to enjoy wireless CarPlay. It also reconnected automatically when I left and then re-entered the vehicle. I'm pretty sure if and when I update the firmware that it will most likely correct the "Smartbox_5621 connection unsuccessful" error/issue.
