APPLICATIONS:
THHN/THWN-2 building wire is intended for general purpose applications as defined by the National Electrical Code (NEC). THHN-THWN-2 is permitted for new construction or rewiring for 600-volt applications. Applications requiring Type THHN or THWN-2, the conductor is appropriate for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C or not to exceed 75°C in oil or coolants. Applications requiring Type MTW conductor is appropriate for use in dry locations at 90°C, or not to exceed 60°C in wet locations or where exposed to oils or coolants. Applications requiring Type AWM conductor is appropriate for use at temperatures to not exceed 105°C in dry locations. Most common building wire used often on sub-panels, hot tubs & jacuzzis.
FEATURES:
THHN copper conductors are designed to be installed without application of a pulling lubricant. All sizes are rated gasoline and oil-resistant.
MATERIALS:
Jacket is heat and moisture resistant, colored polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, with a clear nylon (polyamide) or UL-listed equal jacket, which provides abrasion resistance.
Conductors are stranded soft drawn copper, per ASTM standards

Item arrived as described and on time. Does not come on a spool since it's cut to length, so installation can be a little more challenging than expected. Measured my 150' wire because of some reviews that said the seller shorted them, but mine were all correct.

Wire is ridiculously expensive. I was nervous about ordering wire online. Using for a generator inlet box to electrical panel, so can not afford low quality. But this is surprising good quality wire. I have done a few orders. The wire is usually labeled very well, the last order it was not, but the length was correct. Will likely do another other soon.

Wanted to add a RV outlet power station and I needed 25 ft of 3 colors 6AWG and an 8AWG ground wire. The local big box stores have very little wire for cut to length, moving to pre-cut lengths of wire and in this wire gauge it was stocked in 50 ft length. It would be a lot of waste for me to buy 50 ft pieces, so was very pleased to find this 25 ft kit.The wire quality is good and comes from a USA company. I would buy from this supplier again and save myself a lot of running around trying to find the wire size and colors I need. I did unroll the wires and measure for length and they were 25 ft to the inch. No extra, so order enough length for your project.

Was Southwire Simpull THHN. Same stuff they sell at HD for around 30 dollars more. I think this was wire that was left over and not used from contractors possibly?. I am fine with recycling as long as its still new and not damaged. The first delivery some of the wire had cuts in the insulation. They sent me a new shipment which was fine though and I will return the first shipment. Worked great for my 50amp generator inlet.

Red, black, and white wires looked about right and green significantly shorter. Measured it and it was only 40'. Seller replaced quickly. When ran wire in 1" conduit the black was over 10' shorter than white, red, and new green.Wish I measured all wires 1st as this caused me to have to splice the black. Appears there may be QC issue as wires tagged with weight, which should be a cross check and not done. I won't waste my time again.
