Inside each Wisesorb dehumidifier bag is 100% orange indicating non-toxic silica gel. The silica gel's absorption status can be monitored through an indicator window, indicating whether reactivation is necessary. Designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%, the silica gel beads shift to a light green hue when saturated with moisture, signaling the absorption nearing saturation and the need for reactivation. It's important to note that the initial color change does not signify full saturation, as nearly half of the capacity remains to absorb moisture post-color change.

Easy Reactivation in Microwave and Oven
Reactivating the dehumidifier is quick and straightforward.
For Microwave Reactivation：
Simply place the dehumidifier in the microwave and heat it for up to 2 minutes at 600W on each side to evaporate the collected moisture.
- Notice: It's recommended to use Microwave power level 1--3 for low heat to prevent melting of the transparent window.
For Oven Reactivation:
Place the reusable silica gel desiccant dehumidifier in the oven for 1 to 2 hours at a temperature between 200°F to 250°F (avoid exceeding 250°F). The reactivation time may vary based on the condition of the silica gel beads.
You may need to repeat the recharging process multiple times. To ensure uniform heating of the silica gel inside, shake and flip the bag during each cycle. Allow it to cool briefly before repeating the recharging process until the silica gel returns to its original orange color.

I like the color indicator but not practical to use in a safe because it just doesn’t last long enough. Get a proper golden rod or boot dryer style is ideal and forget these glorified silica gel packs..

Having had to clean rust off of an old barrel once, I never want to do it again. I just got a new safe, so I needed a new dehumidifier package.My personal rule? There's no reason to not have extra. This is inexpensive enough to not skimp on.Also, the recharging is super easy.

Seems like I'm charging these at least every other day. I guess that means they're working. The color part is interesting as the material of the bags are starting to stain orange like the beads. I leave them to dry in the shade on my porch since I live in the desert.Takes about one day dry them outside since I don't like the idea of microwaving dank sink and mildewy basement type water where I also heat up my coffee and cook my food, you know?I haven't noticed and leakage and the bags seem to be holding up pretty well. Strong material. It's hard to tell how well it's performing, so I assume it's helping with humidity somehow, because it's changing colors, I guess. I hoping in the long run these will prove a good value as I prefer the calcium water trap type bags but I like that these can be used over and over.

Product came relatively quickly. It came in a nice box and each packet was individually vacuum sealed. I am using this to keep my ammo from going bad, as it removes moisture from my ammo boxes, keeping them dry. Doesn’t smell at all. I’m really glad they are reusable. When the beads turn green (they give you a see-through window to look at them on each pack) you can either put them in the microwave, oven or let dry out in the sun. Make sure you read the directions for how to dry them back out and reuse them!!Really easy to use and maintain and works well for my needs. Value for money is okay. It’s a little pricey, but it’s a one time purchase for me. I’d definitely buy them again. I attached some photos for reference!Enjoy!

I just leave one in my car and even though its not charged anymore it makes it less humid. I have a coupe and found it especially helpful smaller cars can fog up quicker from passangers

I have two cars that are parked outside. One is a Miata which a soft-top which likely allows more moisture to get into the car. I got into the car last winter and it was really damp inside. When I had it detailed in the spring, I had mold on the passenger's side carpet so I got these to see if it would help during the winter.The bags arrived ready to adsorb water and I threw one into each car. Got into one of the cars after a couple of days and the inside seemed drier. Will update this review in a few months. So far, I have no complaints.Update, 10/23/24. I had to move the cars and realized both were green indicating they should be regenerated. I'm not sure how long they had been in the cars, less than a week. Regenerated them using the microwave, 3 min each side. You can see the steam coming off the package after the second 3 min cycle, not so much after the first one. Package is also noticeably hotter after the second microwave treatment as expected. Weighed one of the packages before and after to see how much water it had adsorbed, approximately 6 wt%.. Also noticed no condensation on the inside of the windshield which I've seen before in the fall.Update: 12/18/24. Very happy with them. No condensation has been seen. I regenerate the bags in the microwave between once a week and once every other week. Once every other week seems to be sufficient. Upgrading my rating to 5oo5 stars.
