Wisesorb tin can dehumidifier is ideal for removing moisture from gun safes and enclosed spaces. This reusable silica gel canister can be easily recharged by placing it in the oven for 3 hours at 250°F, restoring it to its original condition. It is recommended to remove the cap to protect the clear plastic window. The color-changing beads inside indicate when it requires recharging. This product is perfect if you don't have access to internal outlets for a plug-in dehumidifier.

This sturdy metal canister is designed with perforated mesh sides, filled with regenerable silica gel. The indicating silica gel canister tins are strong and resistant to dents, while the spray-painted exterior prevents rust. The container features a removable lid, and the top cap can be unscrewed to easily empty the contents. Its independent and portable design offers convenience in both usage and storage. High Quality Indicating Silica Gel Beads ( Orange To Green)
Wisesorb cobalt chloride-free orange indicating beads (2-4mm in size) are designed to change color within a humidity range of 20%-50%. Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change to green. It's important to note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation. The beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50%RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.

Wisesorb desiccant canister features a clear window that allows you to check the color of the beads without opening the container. If the beads change from orange to green, it indicates that the environmental relative humidity is above 50%. With an effective volume of 560 cubic feet, it provides efficient moisture absorption. To reactivate the reusable silica gel canister desiccant dehumidifier, simply place it in the oven at a temperature of 200°F-250°F for 0.5-3 hours (avoid exceeding 250°F).
How to Reactivate?
Remove the top cap, then place the canister in the oven at 250°F for 3 hours. Allow the Indicating Silica Gel Beads to cool, and you will notice that all the beads have returned to their original orange color. This dehumidifier for gun safes can be regenerated and reused by heating it in the oven, making it a cost-effective solution for long-term use.

The silica gel container can protect up to 560 cubic feet of enclosed storage space, including safes, ammo cans, toolboxes, 3D printer filament storage boxes, weapon cases, closets, and more. It offers an effective solution for preventing moisture damage to guns, important papers, collectibles, books, jewelry, photo albums, shoes, camera lenses, expensive camera equipment, toys, leather clothing, ammo, and photo equipment.
The tin can dimensions are 5.5 inches in height and 4.25 inches in diameter. Each desiccant canister is individually packaged in a sealed plastic bag and packed in a carton to prevent moisture absorption during transit and ensure easy storage.

This effectively removed moisture from the filament, improving print quality and preventing issues that could render prints unprintable. Additionally, the canister can be placed on top of a portable generator, under a protective cover designed for that specific generator. Its purpose in this scenario is to control moisture buildup under the cover, ensuring optimal functioning of the generator.
The 750 gram silica gel containers have proven to be highly effective in various applications. They work exceptionally well in a closed outside toolbox on a Big Rig, preventing moisture damage. Similarly, they can be used inside a standard ice chest for beach trips, ensuring herbs remain dry and free from mold. had this product for a bitworks perfectly and to reset is like they say it should be.Don't worry about the product in the oven to reset it. If you follow the instructions it will be safe and great

I use this as a dehumidifier in a 36 gun safe and enjoy the color changing feature. Typically get a couple of months out of it before I need to throw it in the oven to recharge.

I use 2 of these to keep my 3D printer filament dry in a plastic container I purchased from Bunnings that has an IP67 rating. This is keeping my filament at 15% - 17% moisture.No more messing around with plastic vacuum bags :). I re-charge them in a de-humidifier every 3 months or so.

I use a rifle/gun case as my camera storage safe. It's important to keep the humidity down for the several expensive lenses and cameras I use. Since it's in the basement it's always had ~70% humidity and this dehumidifier brings it down to a more acceptable 55% to 60%. I find I have to "cook" it about every 5 weeks.

It will turn green and it will still absorb moisture for another week in my gun safe and it brings the moisture down 10% and I use a old school locker

I used one can inside of a pantry that is located directly across from our garage entry. I had been having a problem with stale smelling crackers and other grain foods. I suspected it was due to moisture from the garage even though we have a whole house dehumidifier. These little pellets solved that problem. The other two canisters are in gun safes. They will definitely let you know where your problem areas are and fix them. Time for a remodel!

The product came in 2 rectagular 500 gram packages, not a round 900 gram package. though it is a little more product, it does not fit as well in my safe.

I have put this product to work in a small storage trailer. They work well and unlike an electric dehumidifier I don’t have to worry about it freezing in the winter
