The Wolf Tooth Compression Plug provides an anchor point to set the headset preload on road, MTB, or gravel bikes with carbon forks—essentially securing everything on the steerer tube. A stem cap with a 5mm integrated spacer is included, which is important since many fork manufacturers require the steerer tube to extend above the top of the stem. It is available in eight color options to add some style to your bike.
Compatibility
Forks with 1 1/8" steerer tubes.
Designed for carbon steerer tubes but works with metal steerer tubes with ID from 23.5mm to 24.5mm.
Never use a star nut on forks with carbon steerers.

Works great, except if you crash or ride hard. If the stem has any movement, It can cause the plug to wiggle out slightly which will cause a creak. Other than that it's great. In order to secure the plug, you must use a vise grip to hold it while tightening the inner 8mm bolt. Not the best design, but it works.

Works perfectly and is super easy to install. YOU NEED TO PRETIGHTEN THE INSERT. All of the negative reviews and comments are just dumb people who didn't pretighten the insert;

Did not fit my steerer tube. I would like to return but it is not possible. I only had time to try to install it until today, the return window was yesterday. Can you help?
