Runs large, order one size down. Great quality, should last for years of wear. I went by the size chart and bought larger and the legs were loose and rode up in the middle when walming. Reordered medium and they are perfect. Fits snug not right so they don't ride up at all.

I ordererd a couple pairs of shorts to wear around the house that would be comfy. This was the winner by far. Unfortunately when I came back to order more they were sold out. I'm heartbroken! I love these shorts. I also use them for exercise. They stay put really well and don't roll down like most of my exercise shorts/pants do. Soft, stretchy, and they stay put. Also I didn't notice any show through when it's fully stretched. Always a plus.I read the reviews about sizing down and ordered a 1X. I wear a 3X. I was nervous to follow the other reviewers advice. I can't believe it but they fit perfectly (like bike shorts, not loose, but they're my exact size). SIZE DOWN!!!

I bought a 2x, size 26/28, my hips are 55.5" and waist is 49". They fit perfectly! Comfortable! Not too tight but form fitting, not too loose. They go a little above my knee and I'm 6'1. I guess it depends how big your thighs are lol but I love how they fit, I bought two pair to wear under dresses and maybe around the house on lazy days. They are 65%cotton so may shrink a tiny bit but they'd still fit fine. I really love them. Been looking for bike/slip shorts for a couple months... had to return 2-3 different kind before finding these. I buy from woman within,Ellos,roamans and Jessica Landon all the time (usually the only places I shop) but never thought to look for theses there! So glad I did! Will Definitely buy more later on!LOOK AT SIZING CHART, their sizing is not normal plus sizing, 1x=22/24

Maybe I messed up when looking at the size chart, but I normally wear a 2X in just about everything. So I ordered a 2X, not realizing that this products 2X fits sizes 26-28. I was swimming in them, plus for bike shorts, I like them snug to help keep everything in place. I do like that they seem long in the leg length (inseam) because I like my bike shorts to cover most of my thighs, almost to my knee. I am 5 feet tall and I like my shorts long. So I'm happy with that. I will be sending these back and reordering a 1X (22-24). Make sure you check the size chart and order accordingly.

I even bought a size smaller than I normally wear. It is not as "spandex" like as I would have wanted it. What ever happen to those shorts like this that we used to wear in the 80's & 90's? You know, like biker shorts, that are stretchy but tight enough to hold everything in place?They are definitely comfortable! I just wanted more support

I wasn't sure what size to order because some of the reviews stated that they had a roomy fit but I decided to try the large size anyway. I should have ordered a size down though. The sizes do run bigger than what I thought.I could have sent them back but I kept both pairs and figured that I'd could easily take one or both pair in a bit up the side or at the waist if need be. I washed them in warm water wondering if they'd shrink a bit but they didn't. I basically made a seam on either side and took them in. Not really a big deal. Incidentally they are nice and high at the waist. If there is anything I can't stand, it's short-waisted pants/shorts etc...Actually what I like about these shorts is that I am using them for yardwork and stuff like that so any squatting and/or crouching will ensure that I have enough room so that they don't rip etc..I don't mind pulling them up a bit.I actually like them so much that I signed up on the Woman Within's website and I ended up ordering a few things directly from them which ironically included 3 more pair of bikes shorts but in the medium size...I'm glad that I was at least able to find this company because of Amazon otherwise I don't think I would have come across them...Thanks Amazon!
