I wore this jacket in Alaska and I am so happy with it! It is comfortable, warm, and just what you’d need!Considering the jacket is like a two-in-one kind of thing, both layers are great! The thicker layer is warm and lightweight - I went hiking in this layer and had no complaints. The outer layer is waterproof and easily attached by the zipper 2 I still use it as a rain coat regularly. Overall it is great, the quality is good and I am glad I purchased this jacket!

My teen really loves the puffy jacket. The outer shell is just a necessity and she neither loves nor hates it. The color is a nice rich darker grey which is pretty true to the picture. It is waterproof, keeps her warm, and looks complimentary with most clothing. It's figure flattering. She is 170lbs and 5'5...we bought a large. She usually wears a medium and I feel like this allows her to wear a thinner sweater or hoodie underneath plus room to grow. She has long arms and this cover just past the wrist...most items are too short.

I bought this on Black Friday so it was around $70. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.I bought this to replace an old and worn out 3-in-1 coat that I got at TJ Maxx years ago. I was traveling on military aircraft cargo bag to accompany a large equipment delivery, and also spending 2 weeks in Europe. The temperatures in the cargo bay would be around 45-60 Fahrenheit, and the temperatures in the areas I would be visiting ranged from 7-45 degrees. Rain and snow was also in the forecast, so it was imperative that my coat kept me warm and dry. This coat did all of that and more.PROS:The puffer jacket sleeves attach to the outer shell via snaps, so there's no worry about your sleeves getting lost or stuffed up.Three pockets on the shell (two at waist and one at chest) and all of them zip, which is handy when you are walking/sightseeing and don't want items to fall out.The hem has a cinch cord so as to keep the jacket from lifting up in the wind.The hood has a cinch cord on each side to pull the hood closer to the skin.The outer shell has a loop so you can hang it up.CONS:Can't think of any except wish the puffer jacket had zippers on the pockets.For sizing reference, I am 5'6, 120 lbs, and wear a 34B. I chose a medium and it was a perfect fit. It wasn't too bulky and the need for wearing multiple layers was eliminated. This coat kept me warm and dry, even in 7 degree weather and driving rain/sleet. I bought a compression bag to save space in my suitcase on my return flight (which was commercial), and even after being squished for several hours, it came out looking great with no wrinkles.

The coat seems warm, and fit fairly well (I think the measurements on the size chart is for the outside, but it’s bulky so they should have measured the inside; if you’re on the fence I would size up). The zipper is on the opposite side than normal for a feminine coat, which I could overlook, but the Velcro that closes the hood up was sewn on incorrectly: with the soft Velcro side on both flaps, and both strips seen on the outside (so you have to fold both flaps inward to face you in order to close it). I had to return it.

I washed it always in delicate et I really took care of it but the inside coat is loosing his filling ! Very disappointed;( would like a return !

This jacket has officially seen an entire Central Vermont winter and it was exactly what I needed! I haven't had a proper winter jacket in years, but needed one this year because I have a toddler and being outside is important during all seasons! So I needed a jacket that was going to keep me dry and warm. This jacket did both things beautifully. In fact, this jacket is so warm I stopped wearing a scarf because I'd get too hot! What I was most impressed by was NO WIND ever made it through the jacket.The jacket separates and puts back together quite easily though I haven't actually worn each piece separately yet. I normally wear an XL and ordered a size up per reviews and there's quite a bit of room for me even when wearing a bulky sweater or hoodie. It's definitely not a flattering jacket on me, but it's basic and it keeps me warm and that's all I wanted. I love that it's plain black, no lettering or logos on it etc. It also has several pockets that are nice and deep, and have zippers! I'm able to carry money, gloves (for myself and my toddler), masks (for myself and my toddler), keys and my phone with no problem. Oh, I also really like the hood, it's super deep and actually stays up!My only complaint about this jacket is the main zipper gets caught on the overhang of the jacket if you're not careful. There have been a couple of times were I have had to take the jacket off over my head and work on the zipper, but I have always been able to get it undone. Just have to be careful.Highly recommend this jacket.EDIT: 6/8/22 I've come back to just state that my opinions on this jacket have not changed. It is still in fantastic quality now having seen 3 Vermont winters and still continues to be one of my best Amazon purchases. I wanted to specifically add that I recently brought the outer shell on a family trip as the forecast had rain for the entire trip. Sure enough it rained, but the outer shell kept me completely dry the entire rainy day at a theme park.
