I ordered the ones with paintings on them, and receive just wood, plain ones. They are also 2 eggs, 2 different sizes too... and the sound is very very faint...I'm only keeping them because it is said to support the AfricaHeartWoodProject.org

I got this for my 8 month old son. He immediately fell in love with them. They are a perfect size for his hands. They are durable enough to be dropped. The sound is loud enough and not annoying.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Real wooden shakers without the loud tiny plastic sound of the typical shaker. They have a beautiful soft acoustic percussive sound that compliments but doesn’t overwhelm all other instruments. 5 stars.
