I use this woodfiller in my shop all the time - once you take the cap off it spray a little water inside to avoid it drying out.

I really like this wood filler. Very easy to use, sands and finishes like wood and takes a stain well too.Worth the price for this product.

I bought a big tub of this 5 years ago to fill the Oak grain on our kitchen cabinets when I redid the kitchen. Took some, thinned and used a putty knife to apply. Quick sand and perfection. Also the best all around wood filler I have ever used. The application and standability and fantastic.Yes, absolutely REAKS of bandaids, like really strong. It's non toxic and the smell goes away once dry so just deal with it :)

Color is white, even though label says natural. Shows up on light colored woods, and does not take a stain when dry.container was quart size and product was about the consistency of latex caulk (cured). instructoins state to add water and mix. there is no way you are going to mix this product. I was agle to dis a small amount out of container and apply. If this is typical of the product, I will not purchase again.

Great stuff it’s the only thing I use now. No shrinkage easy to sand. I won’t ever go back to the cheap Elmers wood filler.

This is a great product!! Yes it smells funky like band aids, but it wasn't that bad. Smell went away once I primed. I used this for a kitchen cabinet project. I mixed it with warm water per the instructions and used a paintbrush (going against the grain) to fill oak grain. Let it dry and sanded it off. It filled most of the grain - if I had done a second pass probably would've filled it all. In retrospect I made it too thick though and questioned all my life choices while sanding it off for hours.I also used it for areas of repair in the cabinets and it worked really well. I recommend warming it up in your hand first - made it very easy to work with. This will make DIY purists cry but I had a really jacked up area of window trim - lots of paint uneven and dings etc. I sanded it and then took a little of the timbermate, warmed it in my hand and added some water to thin it - then used a putty knife to apply it as a sort of skim coat to level it out. This is cheating but I didn't want to replace the trim or strip it. It actually worked better than I expected! Sanded it down and it is smooth and looks a lot better.Easy to clean up (it's water based) and paints really well (I bought natural for white cabinets and trim).Takes a little getting used to - but is pretty easy (and I'm not experienced at projects like this).

Best wood filler I've used so far. I buy the natural white color which can be tinted to any color or shade needed with artists oil paint. Does have an odd smell but once it dries it goes away. Can be painted or varnished over with no problem.

This wood filler did everything that it said it would. It is easy to work with. It is nice that its water based and can be dilluted to be used as a grain filler. The only reason that i gave it 4 stars is because it smells. Oh man it has a very bad odor of course it does go away but it will stick with the workpiece for a bit. I used this to fill grain and to fill seams on a platform bed I was building. Even after I stained the wood and brought inside. My bed room smelled for a couple of days. So other than the filler itself if is really good and i do recommend it.
