Bought this for a gift for a friend - she loves it! It is well made, and an excellent size. She uses it for her knitting machine and it is able to hold smaller balls of wool, with the lid on, or larger balls of wool, with the lid off. Great value for money.

Very pretty, high quality for the price. It’s very well made and smells like lacquer 😊 I love that it can be a display piece AND a helpful crochet-on-the-go holder for my yarn balls. I especially like the little holes for different gauges of yarn.

I like this. I wish it was a bit more weighted and the lid could be secured BUT it is still very nice. I can wedge it and it works great.

I recently finished a two color knitting project with this yarn bowl. I had two 100 gram wound skeins of yarn (a light weight DK) kinda stuffed into this bowl, which made it work nevertheless, because the yarn didn't move and roll around in the bowl. I didn't have a chance to use it with the lid yet, because both balls of yarn are too big to accommodate the cover. I don't think the lid is meant to be used while actually knitting, it's more of a design element. So do with that what you will. But if I could purchase this product again, I would get a bigger size.

It works and it's pretty. Big enough for one skein only.
