The extension pole will allow you to reach branches higher branches for pruning and trimming. The extension pole fits onto the JawSaw series WG320/WG321. It attaches easily without any tools. Remove the pole for cuts on the ground and trimming low branches, than attach it for trimming and cutting jobs that need that extra reach.

The Worx saw is kind of clunky to use, but this makes it work so much better. It has a decent reach. I didn't measure how tall of a reach it has, since you can kind of just push on it while cutting, instead of pulling on the handle, which kind of cheats on the height a bit and gives you a bit more reach. Just have to be careful not to try to cut too fast and get it into a bind.

The Jawsaw gets heavy when it's at the end of this extension rod, but it still works great! The jaws hold it on the branch so the weight takes care of itself once you position the jaws and "bite" onto the branch. The combination of this and a sturdy ladder takes care of a lot of tree problems around the yard.

The plastic handgrips seemed to be a little weak for a branch cutting tool. Using the 5 foot extension with it gives you a bit of safety but it seemed a bit flimsy while using it.

The first time out box was in sub-freezing weather & a bad experience. I was working on a pond dam cleaning small bush, the chain tangled and came off. I "shopped" it out of frustration. After putting chain on & tinkering with it, I have used many times since....very pleased. Don't use where chain can tangle is weeds, grasses, & saplings. works great when clear path for jaws to cut. Would recommend spare batteries & 6A replacement takes it up a notch. I would & will buy again.

The Amazon listing is highly misleading on this product. It is inaccurate and possibly out of date. I bought this product only to have to return it. Now I have to pay return shipping for nothing and end up with no product. Total waste of time.

The Worx JawSaw is a significant advance in chainsaws, a small, battery power, safety protected tool. This extender mounts to the JawSaw in about a minute, with no tools involved, providing a long handle so the small JawSaw can be used on branches 12 feet up. The extension handle comes standard on one model, but, I had an urgent need for the basic JawSaw, and a tight budget, so I bought _my_ extender a few months after the main unit. If you have a use for the JawSaw, you will want this extender, one way or the other.

This extension pole is exactly what we needed to accomplish the jobs of clearing fence lines of heavy brush and trimming low hanging branches. A great and practical accessory to our JawSaw. Yes, it’s a little top-heavy and so took a little getting used to, but nothing my 70 year old husband couldn’t handle. Highly recommend.

I am returning system due to theseProblems with Worx systems:Insufficient power to perform as described:1- turbo nozzle - only fine stream - about 1 square inch - too small an area to be useful2 - hydrojet insufficient power to clean deck more than 1 square inch at a time & out of powerafter only 1 square yard with 2 amp hour battery.3 - JawSaw stopped part way through 2" branch and had to release and restart to cut through.4 - JawSaw required significant extra effort to close blade past half way point.5 - extension not useful due to virtually ALL weight at saw blade end AND must pull handles together while holding elevated - requires great strength to position and operate.
