Arrived in just a few days even without having Prime. Nice. Bottom half of standing Maytag freezer was freezer cold but top half not. Found fan wasn't working. I tinfoiled kind of a cocoon of the lower shelves to contain the cold. Lost some stuff on the top shelf items even though basement was only 40 degrees or so. Anyway I hoped this would do the trick and for $25 I figured what the heck. And before I even started playing around I hooked up the fan and found it worked when freezer compressor was on, and stopped when I turned the temp knob to off. So far so good. Only thing I didn't immediately notice before purchase was the third center wire comes into the plug assembly from another direction. Not sure what this wire is about but it manages to seemingly operate fine without it. i left the original other (freezer side) of the plug assembly and cut the blue and white wires. If it acts weird, I'll just splice the wires and work it out. For now so far so good. I have to say I was Impressed with the original fan assembly. The original Panasonic fan on this Maytag freezer lasted 12 years. I found the original Maytag OEM part to be $150 which seems insane for such a simple item. Here's to another 12 years for $25. Fingers crossed

Motor was correct and worked great, however the plug for the wiring harness was not. Had to splice wiring to the old plug.

when our freezer died, we were in a major panic. Who would have thought that this little piece saved us from an $$$ mistake. My husband bought and installed the fan motor and our freezer is working like brand-new!
