Home Water Recirculation System

Pool and Spa Pumps System

Watertight leaks and seals
In a home water recirculation system, the sealing is an important part of the connection between the filter and the cartridge

Keeps the cartridge clean
Seals the gap between the filter head and the cartridge and effectively prevents moisture, dust, sand and other particles from entering the cartridge

Inspection and maintenance
Frequent inspection and replacement of seals has become an important step in filter maintenance

Simple to use
Replacing the seal is simple, just disassemble the filter head, remove the damaged seal and install a new one on the filter head

Steps for Replacing a Pool Seal
Preparation
1, Turn off the power and empty the water inside the pump. 2, Prepare tools: screwdriver, new sealing ring, silicone grease, soft cloth.
Remove the old seal
1, Loosen the pump cover bolts and remove the pump cover. 2, Use plastic pry bar or fingers to gently pick out the old seal, avoiding scratching the sealing groove.
Cleaning and Inspection
1, Wipe the seal groove with a soft cloth to remove scale, algae or rubber residue. 2, Inspect the pump cover and tank for cracks or deformation (if so, replace the entire unit).
Installation of new seal
1, Apply silicone grease evenly to the new seal and embed it in the groove, making sure it fits perfectly without distortion. 2, Reinstall the pump cover and tighten the bolts diagonally and gradually (to avoid uneven stress).
Test
Turn on the power, observe the operation for leakage and listen to the pump for abnormal noise.
