This works just as they describe. Easy to installed, loud warning signal (maybe too loud for some), and the arm/disarm remote control is better than having the control mounted on the alarm.

I HAVE REPURCHASED THIS PRODUCT FOR SEVERAL DOORS IN MY HOUSE. I REALLY LIKE THE REMOTE CONTROL THAT COMES WITH THEM.

These are nice and loud and very easy to install. The one problem I have is one alarm will make a awful ticking noise and won’t stop. I had to remove the battery just to stop it from happening. The battery is brand new to. So I can’t use this one at all unless I want to reinstall the battery and here the very ignoring loud ticking again.

I like everything about this product. Doesn't depend on wifi or internet. Can't be hacked etc. Great product. When you live way back off in the woods on many acres as I do and have no neighbors near. If anyone ever attempted to come from street thru my woods and attempted to try and enter my home via door or even windows.. these super loud alarms instantly go off alerting you. Lol. So if need be,you have time to arm yourself. These are so great. Feel super safe with these. The noise level is so loud I believe my closest neighbor at the very end of our road can probably hear it.. I know their dogs do. Also had a huge fix that's been killing all our chickens and ducks appear near my back door one night. I saw it attempt to grab my large duck and walk away with it towards wood line.. so I opened the door to set off the loud alarm.. in doing so, the fox was started and immediately dropped our duck and ran off into the woods. Haven't seen it around again since. So also a GREAT deterant against large outdoor animals you don't want around.

These do what they are intended for but sadly they are so loud that even my neighbors were commenting on the alarm 4 doors down from us. They don't have thr option to reduce the volume, or to change the alarm sound which would be very helpful. If you have a large house and need to hear the sound from a long distance then these may be good for you, but for a smaller house, they are way too loud and actually hurt your ears and give you a headache before you manage to turn them off. Also the alarm goes on when the alarm and the connecting magnet are separated, it does not turn off when you close the door and they are reconnected, the only way to turn them off is with the remote.. so if you lose it, you're SOL and can't turn the alarm off without having to damage the itemI'm sending it back.

These work very consistently. Easy to install. On a few occasions the arm and disarm didn’t work, causing the alarm to go off when we opened the door. The alarm is very loud and is only turned off by disarming. Great for making sure you are aware that you child has opened the door. Arming and disarming beeps are very loud so you won’t be turning them on or off after people have gone to bed. You kind of stuck in the house if all the doors are armed and the child is sleeping. I would prefer a volume adjust on the arm/disarm beeps.

Loud, but does the job. Easy to install with adhesive pads that are supplied.

When I installed these, Ring mode worked fine, but if I tried to arm one, it went off immediately (because the other door was open). I needed these to function independently, but it was set up so that both remotes controlled both door sensors. If you want them separate, you have to delete all remotes from both sensors, then pair the appropriate remote to the matching sensor. There are other questions and reviews that detail how to delete and pair remotes, so I won't cover that detail in this review. But basically, remove a battery and put it back in while holding RING. Once it beeps a second time either hit PANIC to delete all remotes or ARM to add the remote. These were easy to install (just attach the double-sided tape and stick them up). Make sure to line up the arrows for the sensors. The remote is intuitive and easy to use.The alarm is sufficiently loud. I'm not sure it's 100+ decibels like it says, but it's loud. One slight annoyance is that it's fairly loud when you arm or disarm, too. I'd rather that be at a much lower level. Also, the Ring mode is a bit louder than I expected. There's no manual provided, so I had to rely on this page for instructions.Incredible value for the price.

A friend has a similar device for a doorwall that leads to her pool area, so I liked the idea of being alerted to dangerous doors being left open. The first alarm I got was AWFUL - it had those tiny batteries and fell while we were on vacation, so I spent a good 5 hours scouring our entire home for wherever those dangerous batteries went. I never found one, and swore off door alarms on our new home. Of course we ended up needing one, so I gave this one a try because it relies on regular AAA batteries. This is simple to install (seconds, really) and LOUD. - so loud I feel bad for my neighbors. But this also means I can hear it anywhere in the house, so I know if the toddler has escaped or someone has let the dog out. It does not continually alarm when the door is open unless you have that feature set (via the remote), which is nice maybe when you're away as a security feature but not for my everyday purpose. The item is discrete and reliable. I'd recommend this purchase for sure.

We recently moved and didn’t want to lock into a contract with a security company, so I looked into creating a DIY system. I bought cheap sensor alarms for all of our windows, but didn’t want to use them for our doors, since I wanted to be able to arm/disarm as we entered and exited our home. I installed these about 3 months ago and so far so good! They were easy to set up and pair (I followed another reviewers instructions), so now my husband and I both have the ability to arm and disarm the home. We use these everyday and they provide an amazing little peace of mind for the price! Definitely not a foolproof system, but at least the loud alarm sound might scare a potential thief off- especially since (unlike the window sensors) there is no way to turn off the alarm without the remote. It will continue to blare until myself or my husband deactivates. The alarm itself is loud and it’s nice to have the doorbell option as well. I also love that you can sound the alarm with the key ring anytime! It’s a neat feature for potential emergencies.Big fan of these!
