Awesome deal. This thing generates a cool, bright, wobbly trash sound with amazing efficiency. Just a slight tap with the stick and it really comes alive. And when you hit it with a felt mallet, it sounds gongish and fun. Just a cool effect cymbal for very small amount of money.

This is my only Wuhan so far. Although they do seem to be gradually getting more expensive, Wuhans remain generally cheaper than entry level cymbals from the major manufacturers; although the ones I've heard by far outperform those and, indeed are made from far better quality alloys. I don't feel they compare so favorably to my A's & K's but the price difference there is pretty significant. As far as this oddly shaped little gem is concerned, it is (as expected) all punch and no sustain but that punch is trashy without sounding like a trash can lid. It has a unique high note and is a great accent or bridge splash. In terms of bang-for-buck, this is a definite winner, I'm happy I bought it and I feel more Wuhan's may be joining may stable in the future.

Great looks and sound for the price. I own 8 Wuhan cymbals now and I got my first 3 for free from Amazon specials. I have been using them for about 4 years now and I have not cracked or split one yet. You can't beat that in my book.

very cool strange little cymbal that sound like nothing else I have ever heard. The only thing about the cymbal thats a little strange is when you hit it, it won't bounce around like your typical cymbal (because of the shape, of course.) Otherwise, a unique cymbal for not a lot of money.

I bought this only for its looks because I wanted the conversation piece at gigs. And because it was cheap I figured it would sound generic when you hit it all by itself (it does). Also, I wasn't expecting it to sound good "live" mixed in with all the other instruments. However, when I'm playing the whole kit together or during a song, this little 11" crash is actually pretty sweet! I have an 8" Zildjian A Custom splash and together these two are a great combo. No one would ever mistake this for a Zildjian, but when playing live it definitely gets used a lot. This is a very good deal especially if you already have a splash and just want an additional/different sound.

Super-fast shipping from seller. This is an awesome effects cymbal! Very similar to the sound of a 14" China crash.I purchased the Wuhan 14" China a few weeks ago, I like that one, but this sounds better! Quick, bright, notas "trash" sounding as a china, more of a "recycled trash" sound! Nice weight and finish, however the Linear logowas somewhat washed out on my cymbal. Love the shape!
